March 10, 2011 Mr. Tom Ellis, President Marshall & Ilsley Corporation 770 N. Water Street Milwaukee, WI 53202 SENT VIA FASCIMILE AND REGULAR MAIL Dear Mr. Ellis: As you undoubtedly know, Governor Walker recently proposed a budget adjustment bill to eviscerate public employees right to collectively bargain in Wisconsin. ..
As you also know, Scott Walker did not campaign on this issue when he ran for office. If he had, we are confident that you would not be listed among his largest contributors. As such, we are contacting you now to request your support.
The undersigned groups would like your company to publicly oppose Governor Walkers efforts to virtually eliminate collective bargaining for public employees in Wisconsin. While we appreciate that you may need some time to consider this request, we ask for your response by March 17. In the event that you do not respond to this request by that date, we will assume that you stand with Governor Walker and against the teachers, nurses, police officers, fire fighters, and other dedicated public employees who serve our communities.
In the event that you cannot support this effort to save collective bargaining, please be advised that the undersigned will publicly and formally boycott the goods and services provided by your company. However, if you join us, we will do everything in our power to publicly celebrate your partnership in the fight to preserve the right of public employees to be heard at the bargaining table. Wisconsins public employee unions serve to protect and promote equality and fairness in the workplace. We hope you will stand with us and publicly share that ideal.
In the event you would like to discuss this matter further, please contact the executive Director of the Wisconsin Professional Police Association, Jim Palmer, at 608.273.3840.
Thank you in advance for your consideration. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

“...Scott Walker did not campaign on this issue when he ran for office.”
If Walker had enunciated this plan during his run, his victory would have been bigger.
If attacked by the corrupt union cops, I (a FL resident) will send $ to support Walker.
The police are not your friends.
The civil war begins. The LEO unions call out their thugs. Walker calls out the National Guard.
My money is on the National Guard. At least I know who I’m rooting for
Hmmm, we have this thug’s number. Now, what can we “legally” do to disrupt or make things difficult for this phone number?

It’s time we find out if Americans have the courage of Scott Walker and majority leader, Fitzgerald. It’s time we find out if Wisconsin business are capitalists or marxists.
It’s time we know who is with us and who is against this country. Who will stand up and fight is something we need to find out. This is liberty at stake—a gimme. They need to “EARN THIS”.
The Tea Party needs to show support for these businesses and remind Americans who they are and what our forefathers died to give us.
Did rank and file have a vote before this went out?
In 1919 Calvin Coolidge knew how to deal with the Police when they went out on strike in Boston. I believe that is where President Reagan got his inspiration in dealing with PATCO. Go Walker go. “Illegtimi non carborundum”!
You can find a list of the business/organizations being boycotted by the unions on They Support Walker Keep Them Open For Business Facebook page under the "Info" link. Please press the Like button and share it on your Facebook page.
Any cop that puts the union over his duty to protect the citizens is scum and should be fired.
My response would be something like this:
Your letter is a perfect example of why I am opposed to collective bargaining for public employees. You are abusing your office as an officer of the law by engaging in blackmail and intimidation. As to your request for support, you are cordially invited to kiss my ass.
I think a lot of employees at Johnsonville, Sargento, and M&I just became Republicans.

There are 8 recalls against GOP senators and 5 rat fleebagger recalls.
Wisconsin, it gets better: Returned Democrats can not vote. At all.
The WI Senate Majority leader announced that rat Senators will not get to vote, as they are still in contempt of the Senate. The Senate is on recess until April. Once the rats return to the Senate Fitzgerald will allow the rats to once again represent the fools who elected them. This is a slap to make the rats stew for a month and a half.
It is a deliberate provocation that some might think unwise when 8 GOP seats could be imperiled by a well funded and organized union-acornspawn-obama recall push. I doesn't sound like Fizgerald is concerned about the GOP recalls. It sounds like Fitzgerald wants to deliberately infuriate the rats. Maybe he thinks the rats are killing themselves with independent voters with each new stupid stunt they pull.
STRONG SUPPORT For WI Governor Scott Walker in Latest Pol
Always pay the army/cops.
Expect to have an arrest warrent on Walker soon. Or just an arrest. I hope he has some private security guarding his family, because the cops won’t.
Nice little business ya got here. Be a shame if anything happened to it.
Jim Palmer, the director of the Wisconsin Professional Police Association, is not nor has ever been a cop. They hired lawyer to run their crew. Pathetic.
The Milwaukee Police Department IS NOT affiliated with this union.
