This picture amazes me...contrast it with the looters of New Orleans, but Katrina doesn't even compare with the disaster in Japan.
The individuals in your picture probly have not had every arm of the media and every crooked power hungry politician in the Country telling them that they were entitled to take the property of others and that ther were owed a living.
Cause & effect, right? It’s amazing what people can do when they know Big Brother won’t do it for them.
I have been monitoring the USGS quake sheet for the last 8 years. The average world quakes are from 200 to 300 on a daily basis. It is in the 500 to 600 range now.
The Japanese will be OK. They are a homogenous people, smart and industrious - and they will pull together. You are absolutely right to point out that there won’t be any looting, rape or robbery.
Really amazing pictures. The one with mother with no blanket and the child nestled, is really a momma Grizzly moment. But, they are all Wow pics.
I hope you’re right. They have quite an up hill climb.
if that is Japan, why are all the signs in English?
