NN's Joe Johns hyped a recent Michael Moore speech on Monday's Newsroom as "incredible" and "riveting." Johns highlighted a clip from the left-wing film director, who spoke at a pro-union rally in Madison, Wisconsin, where he claimed that "America is not broke...The country is awash in wealth and cash. It's just that it's not in your hands! It has been transferred, in the greatest heist in history, from the workers...to the banks and the portfolios of the uber-rich."
Anchor Brooke Baldwin brought on the correspondent for the regular "Political Pop" segment 40 minutes into the 4 pm Eastern hour, and asked about Moore's March 5, 2011 address in Madison. Johns immediately gushed over the director's words:
BALDWIN: What was he up to in Madison?
JOE JOHNS: Yeah. Well, it was a speech and it was really pretty incredible. Have you seen it by the way?

Sounds like Johns might have a “man crush” on the human donut hole.
Okay, Mikey, start giving your millions to the masses.
Michael could be right.
Wall Street is full of the meanest sort of crooks.
Of course most of them are Democrats.
Even a blind hog finds an acorn every now and then. But then, he should know because he’s “uber-rich”. When is he giving away his money?
“Incredible” - As in not credible
“Riveting” - As in jackhammer to the ear
This unremarkable speech was a Lib rant delivered by a millionaire who is suing his studio for millions of more dollars. What a joke. No wonder CNN has the ratings it does.
It was one of the stupidest speeches ever delivered.
Remember the old saying about don’t shoot the messenger?
Doesn’t apply when talking about Fat Boy.
What doesn’t the dumb-ass just look into the camera and say: “RISE UP COMRADES, RISE UP!!”.
Just a case of Communists doing what Communists do, nothing here to see folks.
From a rich guy who employs non-union labor on his films.....
Marxist Gushgasm.
CNN - “Voice of the Regime”
The uber-rich being the union leaders, who make far more than the Wisconsin governor or senators and representatives. The uber-rich being the teachers, whose combined salary and benefits are at least 1 1/2 times higher than the average Wisconsin private sector workers, who can retire and receive 1/3 of their salary the rest of their lives, while taking another job.
THe people are wise to you Mikey. We know what’s going on here. You go slink back to Cuba for some awesome medical care.
Maybe America is not broke but a lot of people are. Looks like we are going to live in interesting times in 2012.
Here is an excerpt.
America is not broke.
Contrary to what those in power would like you to believe so that youll give up your pension, cut your wages, and settle for the life your great-grandparents had, America is not broke. Not by a long shot. The country is awash in wealth and cash. Its just that its not in your hands. It has been transferred, in the greatest heist in history, from the workers and consumers to the banks and the portfolios of the uber-rich.
Today just 400 Americans have the same wealth as half of all Americans combined.
Let me say that again. 400 obscenely rich people, most of whom benefited in some way from the multi-trillion dollar taxpayer bailout of 2008, now have as much loot, stock and property as the assets of 155 million Americans combined. If you cant bring yourself to call that a financial coup détat, then you are simply not being honest about what you know in your heart to be true.
And I can see why. For us to admit that we have let a small group of men abscond with and hoard the bulk of the wealth that runs our economy, would mean that wed have to accept the humiliating acknowledgment that we have indeed surrendered our precious Democracy to the moneyed elite. Wall Street, the banks and the Fortune 500 now run this Republic and, until this past month, the rest of us have felt completely helpless, unable to find a way to do anything about it.
“Sounds like Johns might have a man crush on the human donut hole.”
Nahh.. just some more un-biased reporting by the MSM.
Has Joe Johns ever heard a speech before?
Moore/Maddow'12!
