They know but don’t care; they’re laughing all the way to the bank. These policies officially deem them to be inferior.

...”Black History Month” tells blacks they’re not good enough for general US history. They just need to embrace thier own. They don’t get it. “Kwanzaa” was invented to stifle the riots in Watts etc in the 60’s. Offered as a pacifier so they’d stop “acting up”.
You are assuming that many of them have either 'Pride', 'Dignity' or something called 'Self-Respect'. To a great many of them, this is simply a way to pull one over on 'whitey'.
Most don’t because most blame their personal situations on external things. They believe they deserve such treatment because it’s not their own fault and that there’s nothing they could do to make things better for themselves.
That is why they are not insulted. But they should be.
I don't think it is a question of understanding, but one of 'getting over on the man'.
Only the people who have worked hard and done well (some of them black) will understand the insult.
