Texas: Eleven-Year-Old Gang Rape Victim Blamed for Crime (Them boys didn't rape her)

At a Thursday night meeting to discuss concerns about a gang rape investigation has degraded into allegations that the eleven-year-old victim is to blame.

Many who attended the meeting in Cleveland, Texas support the group of men charged with the crime.

More than 130 people attended the meeting led by Quanell X, a Houston activist in the black community, who insisted that his goal was not to "jump on an 11-year-old girl" but to question the police investigation.

His concern centered around the fact that only young black men were arrested, and although he believes some charged are guilty, others are not.

After the meeting, Fox News reports that many people believe she had sex with the boys, but was not raped. They mentioned her manner of dress, and said she "must have lied about her age."

Angie Woods, who grew up in Cleveland, doubts the claim also, saying she lied about her age. "Them boys didn't rape her. She wanted this to happen. I'm not taking nobody's side, but if she hadn't put herself in that predicament, this would have never happened."

Law enforcement clearly should have found a couple of whites and arrested them, for the sake of equality and to avoid appearing as racist.

Maybe a few Japanese and Amish too - wouldn't want the lowlifes who did this to a child to feel they were reflecting badly on 'the community'...

I hope ( and almost have to assume) the reporting on this story is biased and that most black people who live there are NOT standing with child rapists.

If the majority of black people in that town are standing with the men who raped this child, I might become what liberals accuse us of... I might start judging blacks as a group - an inferior group ...

My post was regarding the hypocrisy of leftists when it comes to such issues, but it seems you have some sort of axe to grind? If you don't care for the content of my post, no one is forcing you to read it, move along...

BUT if it is so important for you to know what I think, let me give you a recent example. A police office here in Toronto was giving a talk to university students on protecting themselves from rape, he advised them not to ‘dress like sluts’ in dangerous areas and the whole world dropped on him, granted his choice of words could have been more tactful, however would it be wrong to tell someone not to deck themselves out in expensive jewelery before heading into a high crime area? I don't see the difference between the two.

Does the way a woman dresses excuse rape? NEVER, but should we be hiding from reality because of political corectness imposed on us by the liberal feminist movement, also wrong. That is my stance on that.

I doubt this applies to the case in question here, however that is the excuse the perps are using, which is why I bring up the point. Where are the leftists jumping all over these guys like they did over an honest policeman just giving some advice?
