MANCHESTER, N.H. – Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann kicked off her first swing through the Granite State with an unfortunate gaffe.
"You're the state where the shot was heard around the world at Lexington and Concord," she said Saturday morning at an event organized by the Republican Liberty Caucus of New Hampshire. "And you put a marker in the ground and paid with the blood of your ancestors.
Good, patriotic stuff … only the “Shot Heard ‘Round the World” was fired about 70 miles to the south in Concord, Massachusetts.
For a candidate already known for her gaffes in public remarks, this is not a good start for her New Hampshire debut.

Ouch. That’s gonna leave a mark.
Hopefully, she’ll get the other 56 states right....
I’m guessing the reaction to this gaffe will be just a little different than it was for “57 states” and “my Islamic faith.”
Ugh, conservative women HAVE to be on the ball. It’ll go viral and that’s that.
I like Bachmann and could support her. But she, like all conservative candidates better be very certain of history and geography before they speak. It’s not that liberals don’t make the same mistakes. It’s just that the media doesn’t report it when liberals make the same mistakes.
Probably just one of those “57 states” moments that ALL politicians, to include “intellectual” DemocRATS, suffer from. Not worth writing an entire story about.

Let’s face it...she has no shot anyway. She is a great tea party spokesman but I can’t see her defeating Obama.
I’ll take Bachmann’s gaffes over Zero’s lies, deception, and highly questionable past.
I like Michelle...she is a great congresswoman. She isn’t presidential material, she has no executive experience...also, there has NEVER been one sitting congressman elected president. Anyone who promotes her...is trying to pull votes from who can win...it’s nothing more than a false flag.
She should just stick to the issues. I hate politicians who suck up to their audience anyways.
Obama will defeat himself and Soros; liars always trip themselves up in the end. It would be even more helpful if there were patriots willing to expose the enemies within. Severe lack of spine and guts in DC.

How many times has she advocated in favor of Iran, Hamas, and other worthies?
Has she been a 9/11 Truther?
She’ll make a good running mate for our next President. We all remember the phony Dan Quayle “gaffe” invented by a Demwit in Congress.
The butt-kissing doesn’t matter; her philosophies do.
Stay true to the principles. Argue from there.

You are right. We must nominate a GOVERNOR. Senators make crappy Presidents because they are used to lying, and House members are even lower down the list. We better start looking at the Govs and figure out who fits the bill.
Well, at least she got the right Concord but the wrong state. When you get older, your mind begins to forget what you have learned when you were a kid in elementary school. I recently made a gaffe myself saying that George Washington’s birthday was on February 21st, not the 22nd. It helps to review the facts that we once knew and that is the reason that she has people who aid her, speechwriters, and so on.
I know that I should say something in defense of Obama’s gaffe about the 57 states but that is another time... ;-)
