If Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., decides to pursue a presidential bid in 2012, it could offer some interesting debate moments now that she's promised that the first thing she would do is offer the public a view of her birth certificate.
"I'll tell you one thing, if I was ever to run for president of the United States, I think the first thing I would do in the first debate is offer my birth certificate so we can get that off the table," she told radio personality Jeff Katz on Boston's Talk 1200 Radio Station.
WND has reported since before Barack Obama's 2008 election on questions and lawsuits over his eligibility under the Constitution's requirement that the president be a "natural born Citizen."
In the last few weeks a campaign has sprung up among state lawmakers to adopt legislation that would require presidential candidates to provide proof of their eligibility. So far, the issue has been considered in 13 states.

I saw an intrview with michael palin and he kept saying he was NOT related to Sarah...foolish little man.

It would be easier to be President of China.
Its all about easy, for him. My small experience in life has told me that being a leader is not about taking the easy, vote “present” path.
This is what I love about Bachman.
She is not afraid to say provocative stuff like this, and to say it in a wonderfully indirect way.
Instead of sounding like a birther, she just says she will provide her BC, putting the onus on The One to do the same.

I like Michele Bachmann. I’ve contributed to her Congressional Campaign.
I just don’t think she’s Presidential. This Birther statement is nothing but red meat for the folks that want to characterize her as a fringe whacko. When people want to club you to death - there’s no need to keep providing the clubs!
In an earlier thread someone wrote Palin, West, Bachmann, Cain, - any 2, any order. Remove Bachmann from the list, and I’m good with any 2 of the 3 - any order.

Hard indeed. It drove the community organizer (professional thug protester) absolutely crazy to have to “organize” from the side lines, and not be in the thick of it in Madison!!!
Except for New Hampshire. They wimped out and post-dated their law to not take effect until 2013, thereby bending over and grabbing their ankles for Zero vis-a-vis the 2012 election. What a sorry pack of pantywaist pu$$ies!
She made a point that needed to be made. She is going to be clubbed not matter what she says because she tells the truth without PC. You are just not used to, or don’t like politicians with balls. For crying out loud she is one of about 3 who ever get to the point without preceding it with dribble and an apology.
