my daughter says Klamath has one person swept out to sea, just reported

I’m glad someone else heard them say it. I was beginning to think I misunderstood them. LOL! It was close to bedtime and I was tired.
Just woke up a few minutes ago and am trying to catch up on everything.

I did a google search on those alleged eruptions and cannot find any legitimate news source reporting them.

How many billions of dollars of "we don't give a damn" did we taxpayers spend on Katrina recovery?
Another point to consider is the damage in New Orleans was preventable if it wasn't for the rampant corruption. Japan would have been far worse (and I am amazed the damage wasn't) if they had not had the foresight to build for the earthquake risks. An 8.9 is equivalent to a 300 megaton nuclear blast.

I keep a very close eye on all the volcanos in and near Alaska, especially since I live not too far from a couple mostly down wind and I don’t see any elevated warnings.
I am near Wasilla Alaska right now.

It’s possible they’ve made corrections since I went to bed.
Haven’t heard anything since I woke up a short while ago.
It’s ALL beyond my comprehension. I feel so badly for all those people in the path of that monster.

I was looking for the same thing, and found one questionable weather news source : /
However, I did find the Global Volcanic site, that is affiliated with USGS, and the part I found interesting was that they were not up to date. Their data was for the week of March 2 through the 8th. Here is the link -http://www.volcano.si.edu/reports/usgs/
That being said, as of last week, there were active volcanos in Russia and Indonesia, and new activity, (as of last week) was in Kilauea in Hawaii : /
Also, I found a google geo-earth map that was updated to today, and it did show new/increased activity.
Here is the link for that -http://www.geocodezip.com/v2_activeVolcanos.asp?lat=20.149&lon=163.535&type=map&zoom=1
If you find anything else/better/new, please give me a shout ya’ll.
Prayers for Japan.

When you think that the Indonesian quake a few years ago was over 200,000 it sounds probably right.

Just watching that wave sweep away everything in its path and the cars which were trying to get out of the way......
People had to be totally unaware of what was coming, it hit so fast.
And knowing how densely populated Japan is.
The problem is going to be, I think, that there are going to be thousands missing, swept out to sea. They’ll never find the bodies. They’ll get a confirmed death toll for the bodies they do find, but those missing are just going to have to be *presumed* dead.
