What amazes me is that Japan is one of the most earthquake prepared countries in the world.
Fox News reports 4.5 million homes without power. Some Japans agencies were destroyed.

Must look more real in video, no doubt.

This is going to take years to clean up. I hope now we can quit hearing from the whiners in New Orleans about Katrina.
I spent the last 5 months working there and they were still trying to milk it.
This is going to cost untold billions if not a trillion or more. Get to Japan if you are a construction worker, there will be plenty of jobs.
God Speed to our Japanese friends.

On CNN it looks like more of those oil tanks in the yard are catching on fire. My goodness.

Sorry, I missed this post.. I was busy keeping up with the other thread about the quake... I am ok, and it is great to see you are ok too..
Nothing broke here, but pretty much everything fell off of whatever it was on, including my monitor and mouse :p
I ran to the toilet and hang on; I could feel the walls shifting (and they were not shifting at the same time.. almost like a wave :/)

First time I’ve listened to them in 23 years. Guam’s cliffs are at least 700 feet so I’m not concerned.

I saw that...a hole? Wind? It looked like a hurricane.
God, I hope the death toll isn’t massive. Hopefully there was enough time for people to get to safety.
