BERLIN, March 10 (UPI) -- A Swiss journalist said a crystal skull believed to have belonged to Nazi SS chief Heinrich Himmler was found hidden in a German home on a roof beam in the home of a woman who was once married to a high-ranking SS officer appears to be one of a series of skulls revered by the Mayans in ancient Mexico, The Daily Mirror reported Thursday.
Himmler, who committed suicide after being captured by British troops during World War II was well-known to have been fascinated by myths and legends during his tenure as one of the highest ranking Nazis under Adolf Hitler. Burgin said the skull, which weighs about 20 pounds, is similar in appearance to the death's head on the uniforms of Himmler's men. "I am 99 percent sure that this is one of the skulls of the Mayans, but we need clarity and al available tests will be carried out to ascertain authenticity," Burgin said.
OMG. My Aunt Rosie, who was a HitlerYouth, blamed all the Nazi sins on Himmler. Hitler was only trying to help the German people of course.
No pics.....pffffft
I always hate it when they do not put a picture of the artifact with the story. Just a pet peeve.
I am sure valuable things from WW2 will be popping up for years to come.
Yeah. I wanted to see it, too. Darn it.
Youve seen one 20 pound crystal skull, youve seen them all.......
if true then that is one amazing find...can’t wait to see pics.
Don't believe any of those crystal skulls have been authenticated.

Some historians actually claim that Himmler was the actual brains of the Nazi regime, Hilter was just a front man.
Did she find any pictures of George Soros there?
Didnt you se the last Indiana Jones movie?......;^)

Ancient Aliens had a pretty big segment on the skulls.
Yes.
It sucked !
Years ago I read a book about the Mitchell-Hedges crystal skull and if I remember correctly, they mentioned that there were some crystal skulls that had been manufactured in germany back in the 1800s. The author was comparing the Mitchell-Hedges skull with the german ones to illustrate the superiority (crystal quality, anatomical accuracy, etc.) of the former.
