Palin for Prez?
Somebody asked me the other day who the Republicans should plop atop their presidential ticket next year. And I said, Sarah Palin.

Good article.
What else does it say? I don’t want to click the link?
But if your strategy is to settle for a candidate who will lose with dignity, well, then that's the outcome you're sure to get.
It’s LA Times so I only posted a short excerpt since I ‘m not sure of the FR rules on that publication.
The author makes an excellent point about Palin being the only one who would be unafraid to tackle real change if elected.
It’s pro-Palin, so you probably won’t like it.
Probably won't stop you from criticizing Palin anyway, though. ;)
Capsule summary: Based on historical trends, the election is about Obama anyway -- the only way the GOP wins is if Obama loses. If that's the case, then why not choose the candidate who would ignore issues of popularity and tackle the real business: entitlement reform, illegal immigration, "drill here, drill now" (or, as the article says, "going up to Alaska and drilling for oil like a crazed dentist") rather than one who likely would be more interested in reelection than actually taking on problems.
I am glad to have do my thinking for me. Thanks. LOL
PING!
I wasn’t planning on criticism. But since you say so.
Glad I could help. ;)
If Palin is the only Conservative in the entire country who can beat the likes of Obama then we are in serious trouble.
Another genius who doesn’t read the article but takes the time to post his opinion anyway.
Hahahaha. You SO hit that nail on the head.
I agree, she is great, but there is too much focus on one person.
And what exactly am I supposed to have missed?
I don’t know why I even bothered to read the article. It’s the L.A. Times for crying out loud! I don’t think that the article was particularly flattering and it presumes a loser like Obama can win re-election!
So if you didn’t know what you were doing, why did you do it?
I also did not click the link. You’ve been here since 1998. You should know better.
I know better than to care what you have to say about how the article was posted.
No, but she’s the only conservative who can win the nomination at this juncture, IMO. Bob
