After a wild and raucous night at the State Capitol, the scene inside the building Thursday morning looks just like it was a few weeks ago when protesters camped out overnight.

At 6:30 a.m., there were dozens of people who stayed the night and were camped out in various locations in the building.

Of particular concern to police are a few dozen protesters who spent the night in the antechamber of the Assembly. The Assembly is scheduled to go into session at 11 a.m. Thursday to consider the bill on collective bargaining that the Senate approved last night in mere minutes.

A number of protesters said they had no intention of leaving the area Thursday.

On the ground floor, a couple of young people were staffing the desk that is normally set aside for employees who lead the daily tours of the Capitol. The two were inviting stragglers to sign the guest list, which now is full of diatribes against Republican lawmakers and Gov. Scott Walker.

Outside the Capitol, the scene looks just like any other normal business day. The driver of one car was slowly driving around the Capitol Square, honking his car. But his horn and the sound of buses running routes were the only sounds outside

Yesterday was wild at the Capitol, but today could get very ugly. The union thugs are calling all the troops to Madison for a 'day of rage'. Michael Moore tweeted last night that anyone within driving distance of Madison needed to get there immediately. Ed (the red) Schultz was on MSNBC last night calling for a general strike.

The twitter accounts #wiunion and #wistandoff are calling for protestors to surround the Capitol building and not let the members of the assembly get to work, This could get ugly, last night the Republican state senators had to flee the Capitol because the police said they could not guarantee their safety.

Stay tuned for further updates, WTMJ Charlie Sykes will be excellent to tune into today.....He starts in 30 minutes and will go till noon central time....

You can also follow the Assembly action live at Wisconsin Eye, the aassembly is supposed to convene at 11 am central time. You can catch the Democratic Assembly folks melting down live here stating in a few hours. Buy extra popcorn, gonna be a good show.

YES, but why don't the Union Police officers evict and arrest the law-breakers?

Simply because the Union are the Socialist Workers Unions for all intents and purposes, banded together to promote re-distribution of others' wealth via the tax schemes they use to force the contributions to their cause.

So, what’s the point? They’re not going to change anything.

Mike Tate, DNC head, tips his hand. They’re yappin’ about recalling 8 Republican Senators, and then recalling Walker, ASAP.

Bring it!

This is where the Governor needs to call in the National Guard to secure the building.

Mainly the thugs are hoping for a photo-op of protestors being clubbed...

Senator Fitzgerald is on right now; he says they hope they can get the building ‘safe’ by vote time at 11am. The conditions are unsafe right now, and they can’t do business right now...

I saw some video of the parasites climbing in the windows. I had a distinct vision of maggots swarming on a dead carcass.

Very apt analogy!

Exactly! The Unions tactic is to bully and intimidate. If the police respond, the violence will be the fault of the evil Governor Walker. Walker will not take the bait, just like he played the FleeBagger 14 by releasing the emails, he will play the protestors by not overreacting and giving them a photo op.

I wonder how Mr. Walker is being guarded? There is no doubt his life is in danger from these thugs.

Very similar to the best way to deal with unruly children.

F the National Guard... Why do they get to have all the fun?

I say WE arm ourselves and take care of this infestation problem. No point in making the NG do what we could do a FAR more THOROUGH job of, plus enjoy the F out of it at the same time.

The unions and socialists have given us a BLANK F’ing CHECK to STOMP their F’ing ASSES. Lets take advantage of it.

Pick a place and time.. EVERYONE show up at the same time, no sooner, no later.. exactly on time.... Armed...

If you ever met the man, you would be shocked at how the media is portraying him. He is not the typical slick politician at all. He is a humble guy, straight talking, and sincere. He has an inner strength that I think will serve him well right now, and I give him a lot of credit for taking a lot of the focus off the Republicans in the legislature and taking the heat. A lot of Politicians would seek cover, but he is out front of his party, leading the charge. Contrast that with POTUS Barry. Obama reads (teleprompter in chief) while Walker leads

Is there some kind of law that they have to meet at the Capitol? I’d go somewhere else, get the job done and then announce it to the media.

First off, thank you for the wiseye link. I didn’t know of it before.

As trying as today may be for the Republicans, there is one bright spot. They have been through this before. Loud, ugly, union-fueled protests have been directed at them many times in the past. This time, however, their votes can actually make a difference.
