In 18-1 vote, Wis. Senate approves bill to strip public employees of collective bargaining rights
Amen
He still may deserve an email! :)
Winning!!
Re: “Calling All Cameras”: good call! That’s using your noggin...
I daresay, the “unhinged factor” will be showing even more of its face, in the next days...
:) You *had* to go and get the theme from “Hogan’s Heroes” stuck in my head again, after all these years, didn’t you?
To bad they made exception for Law and fire guys. No I have nothing against either, just that it`s too bad they did not include them.
And enough of the hero stuff, who is more heroic, fire fighters, police officers, or The Military? The Military do not have collective bargaining last time I checked.
On the other side the Democrats spent weeks on camera claiming that this part had nothing to do with the budget. So they know that they would become a national joke if they suddenly claimed that it was. All they said about this last night is that Walker is contradicting himself by claiming it was, not that they (Democrats) were wrong all along.
I turned on progressive radio, the weeping and moaning continues.
A 2012 Republican prez wannabe can score bigtime by suggesting he will name Gov Walker Labor Secy.
The libs will go ballistic-—heheheh.
Walker would make a great Labor Secy in the next prez’s Cabinet.
Dems are claiming that the vote violated the WI Open Meetings law, but according to what I have heard, no notice is required for a special session, and the vote was indeed during a special session.
Da-Da-Da. That is all they came up with last night on MSNBC. Walker played it masterfully leaking those emails showing he was about to cave just before the nuke. I never seen anything like it with clueless Republicans.
Judge Napolitano was on FoxNews and stated he didn’t think a judge would nullify the vote. He said that things were in such an upheaval, that he thought the judge would just let things go. Things have been hectic, and he thinks the judge will take that into account.
There’s also the concept that the Democrats have had weeks to show up. If they were doing their duty, they would have known about the vote.
I like the way they stripped all the money considerations out, so that they could vote without a Democrat there. Now that’s the type of thinking out side the box I’d love to see the Republicans try more often.
Kudos to them.
