House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer says New York Republican Rep. Pete King on Tuesday is sending the "wrong message" to Muslim Americans by holding hearings on the radicalization of Islam.
Hoyer said in a statement to POLITICO that the hearings are not "useful" if they only focus on members of one religious group.
"I believe this hearing would have been more useful had it taken a broader look at domestic terror and radicalization. As currently structured, however, I believe it sends the wrong message to the Muslim-American community," he said. "We all need to work together to keep our nation and Americans safe, and we need everyone's cooperation to do so. Targeting one segment of our population is not helpful to that objective."

My tag says it all.
The main problem when you look at violent religions, except in the case of Islam, the troubles begin the further you get from the core of the religion. Christian Identity has difficulty connecting its racism to the Bible. Islam finds the exhortations to kill apostates, Jews and Idol Worshipers in it's core documents and the words of Mohammad.
The Muslim Brotherhood at work along with their subsidiary, CAIR; who in turn, tap into useful idiot Demrats; who help do their dirty work.
It is all so ugly; and. . .thanks to MSM pushing agenda on Islamsist's behalf; it resonates effectively. . .at least, somewhat; inasmuch as the negative attention it generates.

They love discussions so long as the discussion doesn’t question anything they hold dear. I guess that’s why they like the Islamofascists and that’s because they identify with them so much.
Well, Steny, do you not think that we should start looking into the world wide problem of Islamic radicalization? We have thousands dead; we have many conflicts ongoing; we continue to ignore our own terrorist events, like Ft. Hood massacre, and the more recent event in Germany.
If not now, when, Mr. Hoyer? Or is it that you and your ilk have been lining your pockets with donations from the very rich Arabs? Legally, of course.
Did I miss something, or was 9/11/01 a MUSLIM OPERATION? What the hell is wrong with this bunch of pansies that repeatedly get re-elected? Do people who vote for the Hoyers even give a damn about the US? Why in the name of common sense would we hold discussion on every religions’ grievances when we’re talking about the root cause of the current war. IT WAS MUSLIMS, STUPID, not Southern Baptists!
Perhaps they should check out the Buddhists, too.
I have no fear of radicalized Amish and although I have a different religion I consider them part of “my people”. I fear them and God’s children NOT but plan to rely on them in the war these bastards are going to create.
Maybe Rep King can enlighten the citizens about the “charter schools” and what they are teaching? He may also want to discuss some of these remote guarded real estate holdings throughout the USA owned my our peace loving Islamic brothers. Let us hope Rep King has his ducks lined up so he may ask about foreign funding of certains chools. Thank you Rep King.
