Tomorrow, March 8th ,Los Angeles City and County is having elections. There are many ballot measures that are confusing. Anyone have any help to offer on this ballot?
Thanks in advance.
Bump for help!
well that was a fast answer, with strong feelings! LOL
We usually do tend to vote no on most measures.
In Pasadena we are only voting on the School Board. Sorry. Got any white males running for anything?

1) It is a Primary
2) There are 10 measures
Charter G seems OK. It lowers the min pension figure. But I have not read it all.
Charter H: I would vote no
Charter I: More bureaucracy to LADWP. But also accountablility for them. Toss up on a quick read.
Charter J: No. Don’t like general fund sorts of measures.
Charter L: Maybe. More money for libraries but ... so much is on-line these days. Not sure.
Charter M: Taxing medical marijuana $50 for each $1,000 gross sales. But if their profit margin is 10%, then the city taxes them 50% of profit. Taxes - nah!
Charter N: If its face is what it is, then yes.
Prop O: No. It’s more taxes again.
Charter P: sounds good on surface
Charter Q: No idea. need to read more
Why would you vote for more money for libraries?
Tax medical marijuana - yes. It is a tax for stupidity just like gambling, smoking, heavy boozing and TV viewers who get taxed for cable or sat TV.
We are voting NO on the medical marijuana tx..because if you vote YES, it will give them a right to sell it.
I used KRLAs Kevin James as a reference
