Wis. gov. rebuffs Democrats' request for meeting
Walker calls request 'ridiculous,' says key Dem is 'in the way'

MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin Democrats who fled the state nearly three weeks ago asked Monday for a meeting with Gov. Scott Walker to talk about changes to his plan to eliminate most public workers' union rights, a request the governor dismissed as "ridiculous."

Walker said he and his administration have been in communication with at least a couple of the AWOL Senate Democrats about a deal that could bring them back, but the lawmaker who asked for the meeting, Senate Minority Leader Mark Miller, "is firmly standing in the way."

That accusation led to a flurry of angry responses from Democrats who said Walker was misrepresenting the talks. The sometimes-angry exchange suggested that any resolution to the stalemate was farther away than ever.

"Right now, I'm so damn mad at his misrepresentation of the truth and the public should be as well," said Sen. Bob Jauch, one of two Democrats who had talked last week with the Senate Republican leader about possible compromises. "Trust is completely broken down now. I don't believe anything he says."

“Trust is completely broken down now. I don’t believe anything he says.”

And this from the folks who ran away from their
responsibility.

It’s a slap in the face to every voter.

More projection from the projection party.

Do wicked things, at the top of your lungs that the other side is guilty of wickedness.

By the way, the public employee unions are flooding YouTube with targeted ads tonight.

One of the fleebaggers is 6 months pregnant. I’m betting she’s the one who goes back.

“His misrepresentation of the truth”. In other words, he it told the way it actually is instead of the way we want to believe it is. You just have to be able to translate Dem talk.

The pollsters have an agenda, part of which is to make those who support Walker to feel as if they are all alone in that. Don’t believe it.

Rush went into the poll numbers today: they are statistically rigged to get the results the media wanted and are worthless.

I’m very unhappy with the poll numbers coming out of Wisconsin, what the heck are these people thinking? they would prefer to back the unions that are bilking them dry?

They're phony polls, bought and paid for by the elites who are pulling the strings on this puppet show. Ignore them.

If they were real, the Democrats would be in Wisconsin, setting up rallies in every town, in every congressional district. Are they?

They're fighting this in the media, in the virtual world of cyberspace. That's where they're winning. In the real world, they're dying.

Every word these people say is a lie. Every word. Their world view is a lie, their plans are based on lies, their arguments are based on lies.

Think about what’s really going on here...

Does anyone doubt that the public unions - SEIU, AFCSME, etc - are behind this whole thing? They’ve got the most to lose BY FAR.

OK, now think about what’s been going on. One FleeBag RAT says one thing, then another takes it back and says something different. Yesterday Mark Miller tells the WSJ they’re ready to go home, then first thing today the story is out that there’s no deal. Walker issues a statement saying that “Miller is in the way ... he isn’t in control of the Democrat caucus”.

Most of us probably thought he meant Erpenbach, who has been their spokesman...but I don’t think that was it.

It was the Unions who made the Fleebaggers pull back on this. Bet on it. They are watching the polls and they alone will tell the Rats in Exile when it’s time for them to go back.

Gov. Walker has been around the block with these unions before, he knows the code. The Flee Party RATS are no doubt at each others throats, but it’s the big union bosses who are holding the keys.

Interesting how MSNBC neglected to report that the Dems are wanting to meet on the border instead of acting in good faith and coming back. Wording makes it sound like Walker is refusing to meet at all.
