(Wis. Fleebagger) Jauch fires back

Dem Sen. Bob Jauch fired back at the guv this afternoon, accusing him of distorting the truth in "some vain attempt to suggest he’s being serious" about reaching a deal.

An agitated Jauch vehemently disputed the guv's suggestion this afternoon that he and fellow Dem Sen. Tim Cullen have reached tentative deals with Republicans to break the impasse only to have Minority Leader Mark Miller undercut them.

He disputed the description of the talks they've had with Republicans as negotiations and said a meeting with Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald involved nothing more than discussing things like the landscape of both caucuses and how difficult it would be moving forward.

Jauch, D-Poplar, took particularly offense to the suggestion the two of them were looking to cut a deal that would pave the way for five or six Dems to return for a vote on the budget repair bill.

"Never, never has there been a suggestion that Tim Cullen and I would somehow abandon the other 12 for the sake of cutting a deal," Jauch said. "That's just an outrageous lie."

Heating up....and coming apart at the seams....

The above is in response to a remark made earlier today by Governor Scott Walker, who ripped Senate Minority Leader Mark Miller as “the person standing in the way of progress” and dismissed a letter the Monona Dem sent asking for a meeting as “ridiculous.” He went on to say that Millers babbling to the WSJ isn't important because "Senator Miller is not in charge of the caucus"

In a letter responding to Miller's request, Republican Sen. and Majority Leader Fitzgerald wrote, "Your grasp of reality, and control of your caucus as minority leader, continues to amaze me."

"As you know, your opportunity to compromise and amend the bill was on the floor of the state Senate As you know, you forfeited that right and opportunity when you decided to flee the state instead of doing your job," Fitzgerald continued. "Your stubbornness in trying to ignore the last election and protect the broken status quo is truly shameful."

C'mon boys, let's turn up the heat a few more degrees...these turkeys have got to be about done.

The Governor should make his remarks standing in front of a barrel of tar, a pile of chicken feathers and some rails. “We welcome our Democrat Senators back.”

This must be why Walker is saying he is going to release all of e-mails and correspondence he has had with the Dems.

Look, these Democrat fools don’t get it. They are toast!!! The day they chose Barack Hussein Obama as their POTUS candidate was the day they begun the destruction of the Democrat Party!!! Forget the reasoning, Obama is a total failure across the board and with each passing day more Americans see what an anti-American empty suit this Obama person is. Oh, yes, the Democrat Party might be able to save the day for the party by forcing Obama, Biden, Pelosi & Reid to resign, but less then that, they will all be headed down the flushing toilet come November, 2012!!!

Serious clown show up there in the North. The Dems are exposing themselves as the labor puppets they have always been.Meanwhile, it seems the tax payers are paying for a whole lot of damage and waste. When will the peasants revolt and throw out the politicians? The more centralized the government, the more the peasant class suffers.

I welcome all the publicity these fleebagging state senators and the whining $75,000/yr schoolteachers are getting. A lot of taxpayers who didn’t even know how badly there were getting screwed are waking up.

Will be great to see Governor Walker continue to release well thought out, well planned statements to cause the Democrats to question, missrust and turn on one another as well as behave like irrational children on camera.

By all means, arrange a meeting - in the Governor’s office. Have the State Police arrest the SOB as soon as he enters. Drag him to the Senate and force a vote.

Walker does seem to be feeling his oats. I just heard on the radio that the Capitol police are not going to allow the “protesters” to camp out on the Capitol lawn anymore. Starting tonight, they will be cited and their hovels removed.

This is a big difference from a week ago when the police wouldn’t even push the rabble out of the building. Now they won’t allow them on the grounds overnight.

Aw, no more free camping on Capitol Square? Dang, I was counting on getting my out of state Wisconsin state park permit and camping fees waived this year, just figured as long as I had a protest sign or two it would be, like, free.... ;-)

I know everyone is getting impatient and want him to hammer the Democrats somehow, but he seems to be playing this just fine.

I think it was great for the public to see what the unions are all about.

They try to incite class-warfare, but fail to realize that sword cuts both ways. Average folks just barely making it and especially those without work are now looking at the union people as the “rich” these days.

I was just listening to Belling - and he said that the Dems did have a deal - witness the front page of the WSJ, but that the national union leadership put the kibosh on it this morning. Mark Miller ended up sandbagging the WSJ - not a good idea. They may decide to get to the bottom of it and embarrass the unions further.

Walker seemed genuinely cheesed off at his presser earlier today. I hope he decides to let the Dems twist in the wind. The upstate, moderate Dems want to go home. It’s the true believers, like Mark Miller, who are preventing it.

Lets look at one of those democrats
Julie Lassa 7 months pregnant.
mother of 2 children
husband is City Clerk in Stevens Point, Wi
in 2010 Mrs. Lassa was the democrat for US House representative against Sean Duffy Republican.

This woman was the candidate for the US House and she lost.

the other female democrat
Lena Taylor D- Milwaukee
she also works on MMSD Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewer District and she missed her meeting because she was in Illinois.
Ms taylor was the Democrat County Executive candidate in Milwaukee County and she lost to Scott Walker in 2008.
Interesting these 2 ladies strived to more for their constituents, yet they are out of Wisconsin.

the sad thing is what is the one whom has 2 children already telling her children with her actions. Run when the going gets tough. Sure she has to make sure her husband does not lose anything that they are entitled to.

both these women should be ashamed of themselves. Get back to Wisconsin and do the jobs you sought after through election. If you do not like that bill has ramifications, the only other option you have is too RESIGN.
