Well played by Palin. Griffin, like so many others on the left, relentlessly bully conservatives like Sarah Palin and even target her helpless children while simultaneously decrying other bullies. The hypocrisy is so painstakingly obvious it could only be overlooked by people incapable of thinking clearly.

But Griffin, like so many others on the left, falls squarely into the “incapable of thinking clearly” category.

I saw Sarah Palin make those comments about Kathy Griffin. She was measured and calm but you could tell she was deeply annoyed. Palin's description of Kathy Griffin as a '50 year old bully" was dead-on. That this alleged 'comedienne' admittedly targets a 16-year-old girl for ridicule because Griffin doesn't like her mother's politics is despicable. Like most Americans, I reject using politicians minor children, whether they're 7 or 17, as proxy punching bags. I admire the way Palin said to Griffin (via the camera): "Come on, attack me - but leave my daughter alone". I think attacking Sarah Palin's children will backfire. Bristol Palin is vulnerable because she is an adult (all of 20 years old) and has placed herself in the public eye but that doesn't mean she deserves to be ridiculed mercilessly by has-been showbiz hacks like Kathy Griffin. As for Willow Palin, she should simply be left alone, as most politicians children are - and should be. Having Sarah Palin as your mother shouldn't make any of Sarah Palin's children a target for ridicule by a washed-up comedienne like Kathy Griffin.

All cat-fighting aside, would any of us here really want to wake up the next morning with Kathy Griffin? Jeezus, especially if it was a one-night hookup and she didn't have any war paint on. Sorry, as big a Clintonesque horndog I was in my 20's and 30's, I wouldn't have gotten near her without a fifth of grain and a bottle of bleach. And I still would have made a CYA visit to the doctor the next day.
