bump
Bump for #33, #34 and #50.
The first step, of course, is to develop credible proof of one or more offenses that could form the foundation of an impeachment proceeding. Ineligibility, if a non-U.S. birthplace is established, could lead to a quick conviction in the Senate. It is a game over, yes or no issue with no middle ground.
Who in either the House or the Senate, other than perhaps the 100 plus members of the Democratic Socialists of America and La Raza supporters, etc., would vote to allow a foreigner to serve as president in violation of the Constitution?
Ineligibility based solely on a lack of two citizen parentage is more problematic, would depend on a supporting opinion from the USSC, and even if successful, would probably not provide a basis for removing Obama.
There are other potential offenses, of course, such as the multiple SoSec#s issue, defiance of judicial decisions, refusal to enforce statutes, to name a few.
Recommend FReepers put together their preferred list of offenses and convince their members of Congress to join in the call for convening a Congressional committee for such inquiry.
To quote a proven patriot, “Let’s Roll!”
