The relativism argument will be used to flush out all traditional values so that the vacuum can be filled with leftist values. It’s a technique used by the left, especially by leftist profs on students.
As well, the left is quite use to living with contradiction. Martin Heidegger said that life is essentially, at it’s deepest level, contradiction. This was taken for profundity rather than something to be avoided.
Indeed, I’ve found many that are “immune” to logic, and I guess I shouldn’t be surprised at that, either.
Logic (logos in John 1:1) is from the “mind of God”, and I shouldn’t be surprised that those who reject His Word will reject logic as well.
I believe that Ayn Rand was wrong about some important things, but she understood some things very well. She had read her Aristotle. A=A. There are no contradictions. If you think you have found a contradiction, check your premises.
The post-modernists are bad philosophers. Very bad.
