Wow it’s hard to believe worse then Michigan.
Give ‘em time. Give ‘em time. They’re pushing through a big tax increase. That ought to help.
Unspeakable what the left has done to California. California should be the most affluent place on Earth.
Nope,
They needs to raise taxes.
Create more programs for the poor and needy illegals.
All of these states have things in common. Wonder what that could be?
Liberal elitists are still delighted with the class leveling effects of their efforts, but maybe not quite as delighted as before - they're only now getting an inkling that there's been a corresponding drop in tax revenues.
Didn't plan on impoverishing themselves, too, while doing all these good works. Doh!

Gee, and they received quite a bit of that stimulus money to create jobs. Wonder wut happened?
2009 Stimulus Check for California
Thursday, February 19, 2009 6:39
“And today, it has already been confirmed that the state of California will receive a stimulus check for as much as 10 percent of the total amount of the stimulus package. This is according to Senator Barbara Boxer. In her recent interview with the reporters in Beverly Hills, Senator Barbara Boxer said that the funds for California will be used in decreasing job losses in California. As of today, there are at least two million people who are currently unemployed in the state alone.
In a few days, the senator will go to Sacramento so she can urge the lawmakers in California to give a balanced budget. Boxer said that the lawmakers only have 3 options. The first option is to do nothing, the second is to vote for the right bill and the third option would be to reach a compromise. Boxer believes that a compromise is the only stimulus option that will work.
Aside from that, Senator Barbara Boxer also mentioned that the Californian stimulus check will also include the benefits for the unemployed, funds for the public works projects, as well as enough money to fix schools in the state.”

Yes! Protect a foreign, 2” minnow at the expense of farmland, enact globull warming laws, etc.
They’re racing to the bottom, full speed ahead!!
Come July, when the all the rats (D’s and R’s) collude to pass more taxes, we’ll hit the bottom of the rankings.
It’s not a matter of if anymore, it’s a matter of when.
In other words
'you private sector unemployed, f off'
Thanks for nothing, you ignorant dwarf.
The Golden Goose has evolved and will no longer let the leftist commies steal her golden juevos. Not even the enchanted MoonBeam can woo her back. Like an abused lover fleeing for her life this bird has flown. Kaleefornicata better ger used to its 3rd world status with 3rd world residents.
Indeed, and it was of course at one time, when merit ruled the day.
A real tragedy and a damn shame. For ALL Americans
Not when most of your potential customers have the wife and the 12 kids back home in the trailer making better ones for almost free.
Not if you work for the State of California.
Their hiring continues unabated.
I’m guessing another fifty years of Democrat control of California’s Legislature should be all that is required to get the state back on track.
Evidently the state’s citizens agree with me. Nobody wants to run a Conservative or vote for them in the state. So the Democrats remain in control and fiscal sanity remains on the uncovered back porch while firey hail continues to fall from the sky.
Let’s hear it for the status quo. Hip, hip, hooray! Hip, hip, hooray...
Meanwhile, back at Republican party headquarters, or what’s left of it in the state these days, they keep tabs on it’s biggest donors and nothing else.
Oh almost forgot, they do keep sending out feelers for the next RINO to keep good Conservatives from holding office.
Gee...it just COULDN’T have anything to do with the pro-union, anti-business, high-tax, whacko environment law politicians in the state, now could it!
“Maybe the Golden State needs a few more environmental and nanny-state laws. “
That won’t be necessary. There will be a mass migration of Californians to Oklahoma to work in the peanut fields.
