2009 Stimulus Check for California
Thursday, February 19, 2009 6:39

“And today, it has already been confirmed that the state of California will receive a stimulus check for as much as 10 percent of the total amount of the stimulus package. This is according to Senator Barbara Boxer. In her recent interview with the reporters in Beverly Hills, Senator Barbara Boxer said that the funds for California will be used in decreasing job losses in California. As of today, there are at least two million people who are currently unemployed in the state alone.

In a few days, the senator will go to Sacramento so she can urge the lawmakers in California to give a balanced budget. Boxer said that the lawmakers only have 3 options. The first option is to do nothing, the second is to vote for the right bill and the third option would be to reach a compromise. Boxer believes that a compromise is the only stimulus option that will work.

Aside from that, Senator Barbara Boxer also mentioned that the Californian stimulus check will also include the benefits for the unemployed, funds for the public works projects, as well as enough money to fix schools in the state.”
