I presume he's already cashed his check from Petco's lobbyist.

PETCO store in Bellevue and told Nashville's News 2 there are already plenty of products available.

Sounds like somebody's been lobbying for more business.

Both of my vehicles are SUV’s. And both come available with an optional restraint harness (seat belt if you will) for dogs.

Can only imagine this doofus will soon be proposing a bill requiring all cars to have this as MANDATORY!

Without thumbs, it’s going to be really hard for them to use seat belts.

Is Cobb a Rat or a Republican? And does he have money invested in doggie seatbelt companies, or is he just a congenital moron?

I live in TN - to build a house in my county you don’t even have to submit blueprints so now I have to strap in my dog?

Mine don’t wander around the car - they lie down on the back seat. What a goofy idea.

Hmm, no mention of his party, so I have to assume he is a D. Let me guess, it will be a passive enforcement only, never to be legal for a primary reason for a law enforcement stop.

My small dogs have always rode in a car seat like the one above.

The seat is held down by the seat belt, and the dog is strapped to the seat belt via his collar/body harness.

Tenn. Lawmakers need legislative seat belts to prevent them from hitting the windshield of overregulation.

Government has become so controlling, it's down right frightening..

Meanwhile, tens of millions enter this country illegally, while these same government politicians sit around figuring out how to make us pay for them and subsidize their heath care...

Spring City needs a new state senator. Yet one more special {TOOL} for LEO to collect yet more revenue. I expect more self control from a Tennessee Republican than silly crap like this.

More retarded nanny-statism from our wonderful government.

Recall this moron, now. In fact every time any legislature anywhere comes up with this sort of incremental control scheme the recall petitions need to go out.
