Madison - Rep. Michelle Litjens (R-Oshkosh) said Tuesday she is trying to look ahead after an ugly incident last week involving Rep. Gordon Hintz (D-Oshkosh).
Last Thursday, with emotions running high in the Assembly chambers, Hintz walked near Litjens.
"He was walking back. I sit in the back row, and he turned and pointed to me and said, "You are ------- dead."
Litjens said she said nothing but admitted she felt intimidated.
"It was not a comfortable situation," she said.
Hintz, who could not be reached for comment but who has said his actions were an "outburst," called Litjens on Monday to apologize.
"I've known him for years," she said. "Everyone was exhausted that day, but there's no excuse for what he did."
The two legislators represent the Oshkosh area. Asked if their relationship was damaged irreparably, Litjens said, "I'm sure it will take some time."
I do not recall Obama calling out the deplorable conduct of Rep. Gordon Hintz yesterday, instead he said we should not denigrate public employees.
As a taxpayer in Wisconsin who has been following Scott Walker for OVER a decade, I can tell you from personal experience he does not degrade ANYONE. He is respectful to a fault almost. The quality of calm under pressure and not lowering his discourse to that of his opponents is EXACTLY why the union thugs are so enraged. He is a man of principle, which is something a liberal Democrat can and will never understand. POTUS is a perfect example of a man with no principle, who will try to score political points whenever possible, and who panders to his base. Walker Leads, Obama Reads (whatever his teleprompter tells him to say)
In fact, when a crazy man pulls out a gun and shoots nineteen people, killing six, the dead including a Republican judge, why...
...it's because Conservatives and Republicans were un-civil.
If you have a hard time making sense of this, it's because you're not as smart as the typical liberal.

Watering holes in Madison are going to take a bit of a hit until they’re all best buddies and buying drinks for each other again.
Surveyor symbols on congressional districts are cause for handwringing & pious lectures, but death threats are de rigour according to the buffoons, clowns & milksops in the media.

I wish that Rush Limbaugh knew about this, and would splash it across the airwaves. Hopefully someone who knows how to, would forward this story to Rush, and hopefully it would go viral.

BTW the last of my examples of uncivil behaviour should have read Republican rather than conservative. Very few conservatives would make it that far.
