EPA Reverses Itself on Fluoride
FoxNews.com ^ | February 22, 2011 | By Deirdre Imus

For decades, fluoride has been marketed and heralded as essential for good dental hygiene and used in most toothpastes and mouthwashes. In addition, parents have been routinely encouraged to give their kids cavity-fighting fluoride treatments when they visit the dentist. ...

But that was then and this is now. In a surprising reversal, last month EPA’s announced that it intends to lower the maximum amount of fluoride in drinking water because of growing evidence supporting the chemical’s possible deleterious effects to children’s health.

In 2006, the National Academy of Sciences report that found dental fluorosis – caused by too much fluoride – capable of putting children at risk of developing other dental problems including the breakdown of tooth enamel, discoloration and pitting. January’s EPA recommendation reversal was made following a revised risk assessment study that found 2 out of 5 adolescents had tooth streaking or spottiness and some pitting as a result of excessive fluoride. In addition, other studies have found excessive ingestion of fluoride capable of increasing the risk of brittle bones leading to fractures and debilitating bone abnormalities.

I take Lugol’s. Get it on ebay. Thanks much for the magnesium malate advice. Big reason for American decline is fluorine and chlorine in the drinking water messing with peoples thyroids and endocrines and lowering IQs. Maybe even ADD and autism for some. Some immigrants come here and kick ass because they were not exposed to that crap in their drinking water when young

Obviously some people have little problem with chlorine and fluorides in drinking water. Then there is bromine in breads and other items.

I’ve taken Lugol’s before and buy it at J Crows. http://www.jcrows.com/

I typically take Iodoral now though, which is the pill form of Lugol’s but in a more controllable form. You can get it at www.breastcancerchoices.org

If you go to this site, click on ‘iodine’ and you can read up on the protocol you should be on when taking iodine, if you’re not already. Selenium, Vitamin B2/B3, Magnesium. You should also be taking a dose of good salt at least once a day as the chloride in the salt attaches to the toxins that are purged from the iodine and takes it out of your body.

Your linked site is a little overwhelming. Can you provide the link for the iodine information and protocol you’re referring to? Thanks so much! :~)

Here is a good place for iodine information-— http://www.iodine4health.com/index.htm

Thank you. :~) Adding Kelp to my supplements I take daily. Will pick up the Lugol Iodine that you suggested on my next payday. The amount of supplements I take daily is getting ridiculous! lol Up to 9 now, not counting the Iodine, CoQ10 and Coenzyme B food complex I’m going to add soon. I must say, though, that between eating organic food and taking the supplements I haven’t been sick in 6 years.

Inexpensive Lugol’s so you can test it out. I have bought from him-— http://cgi.ebay.com/Lugols-solution-4-fl-oz-2-2-iodine-/320494213873?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4a9ef19af1

I take Lugol’s on an empty stomach. Just drop a few drops into my mouth. No need to swallow. It will be absorbed via tissues in your mouth. For better fix on dosage amounts you have to read up but a few drops each morning of the above 2.2% Lugol’s should be tolerable and actually too little. But a reasonable place to start

Here’s the link to just the iodine information. If you scan down alittle, you’ll see the iodine protocol link. Click on that, along with any of the other embedded links on this page and read up.

Feel free to ask other questions as iodine is CRUCIAL for your health and you should be on it.

Adding Kelp to my supplements I take daily>>>>

Kelp is good for normal iodine supplementation but if you have an iodine deficiency problem better to take Lugols or Iodoral which you can buy at Amazon and read 98 Iodoral reviews. Once you cure that deficiency you can get by with kelp or get by with kelp and a little bit of Lugols or Iodoral which is Lugol’s in a pill form

Ummm... sorry to dredge up an old thread, but I just came across this place called CANADIANPILLS.NET where (supposedly) you can get "some" prescription drugs w/o a 'script. I want to know if any Freeper knows anything about them, good or bad.

Here's my calculations: My "doctor" will not give a 'script for more than 3 months and I can't find another bloodsucker, I mean doctor, who will.

So... thats $4 per 30 pills times 3 (3 months) = $12, plus $60 bloodwork charge and $79 office visit. Total: $151 every three months. 90 pills for $151. I can get 100 days of the name brand (Synthroid) for $49.

I go to the bloodsucker...sorry, doctor, once a year to see if I need to change my dosage, just like I used to be able to before doctors asked themselves why they should give people a whole year's 'script when they could force them to pay for (IMO, unneeded) office visits every three months in the name of "patient health".
