Fire them all. the teachers who have been absent, the legislators who fled the state, the union thug bosses who only want more for themselves and don’t care about the state, the teachers or the children. Fire them all!
So what’s $165 million in taxpayer money compared to the marching orders of their union puppet masters? They will only return if their puppet masters allow it.
The squeeze is on. If ya can’t get ‘em by law, get ‘em by attrition.
THIS is HARDBALL, and I like it.
sounds like a great reason to PERMANENTLY lay people off (and blame the democraps)
DO IT~!!!
Hurrah! Yes, governor we, the majority, the law abiding, private section people of USA are 100% behind you. If the legislatures don’t want to work, then fire them and get some who do.
Such as: cutting off their pay, credit cards, mobile phones, et cetera?
AM, I feel this qualifies for breaking. If not, please demote.... this is a big effing deal, no matter your decision. :)
Is there such a thing as “contempt of Legislature”? There must be some legal remedy for elected officials who refuse to go to work and do their jobs......
I think you’re right.
Who is bankrolling this scofflaw escapade anyway? The unions, no doubt.
Tea Party v. Flee Party. Bring it on.
“Yes, governor we, the majority, the law abiding, private section people of USA are 100% behind you.”

True, but the Left’s trump card has long been the liberal judges they have been allowed to put in place. Can’t some Commie in black robes simply overrule Walker’s actions?
Regarding the will of the people, see Fag Marriage.
Scott Walker is my hero.
He needs to go Reagan on the lot of them.
Get on tv and explain that since it has been over ‘x’ amount of time since people have left their jobs, he is now considering the positions to be vacant.
Unless they come back within 24 hours, the positions will be filled by competent workers. Period. Then put a call out for teachers and start the process to replace the legislators.
They’ll be back in a NY minute.
By the WI Constitution the governor can call special elections for vacant seats... Imagine if he would do so stating that “the seats *ARE* vacant because their duly elected representation have fled the state.”
Oh, the ‘controversy’ that would spark!
*insert maniacal laughter*
These legislators are not representing their American consstituents. It is obvious who they are serving, and should be fired on the spot, IMHO.
$165 million of OPM,
or your kneecaps.
Fair warning has been given (over and over). Time for the axe and the blame must be placed squarely on the shoulders of the dims AND the unions.
What a crop of hardcore GOP Governors we have in place now. Just wonderful and amazing. Imagine adults, doing the jobs they were elected to do, and the kindergarteners throwing their temper tantrums.
