Call out the National Guard, fence in a cow pasture, and retain the arrested squatters for 3 days....guaranteed dispersal.

Then, post sentry's at the Capitol entrance, and close the Capitol to visitors because the Democrat Senators are AWOL.

I heard from a friend that works at the capitol that the protesters are literally destroying the place with filth and trash. She said it is obvious that they have no respect for public areas and the stench is unbelievable.

*** Call in Putin to send over his gas police. ***

Good idea. But those weren't 'Police'.

Those guys were the Russian Spetsnaz, their Army's 'Special Forces'. But those 'Special Forces' are not like our US Army Special Forces (Green Berets), or any US Military Unit or Branch.

The Spetsnaz are trained killers above all else(1) and expect to die on every mission. Even during Spetsnaz Training soldiers can expect to die and they do -- and that's treated as normal.

So I think sending in the Wisconsin National Guard first would be more prudent ;-)

(1) They're trained to kill with any object they can get their hands on. As a last resort, close combat weapon, it's the good old 'Entrenching Tool'. They can use it like American Indians used Tomahawks.

Wisconsin police association urges members to join sleep-in at Capitol

By Muriel Kane
February 25, 2011 @ 6:34 pm

Wisconsin lawmakers approved [1] a rule change on Wednesday that would allow them to close the State Capitol building over the weekend and eject the protesters who have been camping there for the last week.

The new restrictions on items and sleeping areas within the Capitol were to go into effect at 4 PM on Friday, and the protesters were to be removed from state offices and hearing rooms after business hours on Saturday.

The head of Wisconsin’s Professional Police Association, however, not only opposes the plan but has called on police to join the sleep-in. According to a posting [2] at Dane101, a Madison area blog network, WPPA Executive Director Jim Palmer has asked Governor Scott Walker to keep the building open and allow the protesters to remain.

“The law enforcement officers from across the state that have been working at the Capitol and have been very impressed with how peaceful everyone has been,” Palmer stated. “As has been reported in the media, the protesters are cleaning up after themselves and have not caused any problems. The fact of that matter is that Wisconsin’s law enforcement community opposes Governor Walker’s effort to eliminate most union activity in this state, and we implore him to not do anything to increase the risk to officers and the public.”

Palmer also announced that the WPPA is asking its members from across the state to join the protests, explaining, “Law enforcement officers know the difference between right and wrong, and Governor Walker’s attempt to eliminate the collective voice of Wisconsin’s devoted public employees is wrong. That is why we have stood with our fellow employees each day and why we will be sleeping among them tonight.”

Palmer also noted that many police officers have already been participating in the protests in civilian clothes after providing security in their official function. “We may not have a big group but we’re going to try to have a presence just the same,” he stated [3]. “Who knows, maybe I’ll be there by myself.”

I’d say the stench is BELIEVABLE. After all...they are LIB/DIMs.

You obviously have a problem differentiating between a lawful protest and one that goes to the extreme of taking over a legislative body to stop legislative action. One changes legislative action by the ballot box. Those changes can be fomented by protest, rally, debate and the like. Once the legislature is formed, stopping a legislative process by duress is NOT lawful IMO, it is mob rule. Law which do not conform to a state or national constitution can be challenged in court or a future body can be elected to remove those laws. Again, not by mob rule but by the rule of law.

Thought so. That’s why the police haven’t stopped it.

Exactly right. Have the Governor call-up a couple of WIANG MP battalions and have them clear out the rabble. Then, bill all the unions for the damage and clean-up of their mess by whacking state funds to various school districts.

This might be moot anyway. WI will not be able to conduct legislative business involving funding due to a lack of a quorum caused by the Donkey “Gang of 14”. School districts won't get funding and they will have to start laying teachers off.

Walker doesn’t have to do anything....the budget doesn’t get passed and no state workers get their paychecks...just let them rant hoot and holler...but no welfare recipients will get their checks because the budget isn’t passed and the state school systems start to shut down.

Walker should send out a round of layoff notices this afternoon, and issue a press release that this is only the first round — tune in tomorrow.

The governor should just order that they turn off the power, the water, and the heat, and keep the doors open.

I hear Wisconsin is a bit chilly in March...

The head of Wisconsin’s Professional Police Association, however, not only opposes the plan but has called on police to join the sleep-in.

Disgusting. As I have probably mentioned, I am a Spanish translator and over the years I have translated many documents relating to the takeover of certain Latin American countries by the left (Bolivia, for example).

What is going on in WI is virtually text-book. You have a reform-minded, legitimately elected public official (Walker) who becomes the target for a highly manipulated activity by left-wing unions...who are then joined by the police.

What usually happens after that is that the military has to be called out to maintain order and a shooting war breaks out. Then the government falls because it is, after all, a government that was based on the rule of law and the leftists have completely undermined and destroyed the rule of law throughout the society.

I don't think this will get to the shooting phase because I don't see Walker calling out the military. And in any case, the National Guard would probably be prevented by Obama from following the governor's orders. I don't know what's going to happen, but I know from years of experience that once the police turn up on the side of the leftist unions, a critical and very dangerous point has been reached.

If the unions win this one, they will have consolidated their power and they will be able to destabilize and intimidate the entire country whenever they wish. And they will most certainly get Obama reelected.

Activate ll that fire alarms in the Capitol & send in the firemen to evacuate the building!

OR:
Turn off all the heat to the Capitol Building.

Turn off the power to the building.

Turn off the water to the building.

Lock all the bathrooms.

Keep security cameras rolling. Be prepared to issue citations.

Take the legislature to another building in town & conduct their business there.

Announce that the SWAT teams will evacuate the building by midnight Tuesday night.

Enough is enough.

Good points. It is damn sad when these selfish public servants protest and shout down anyone they disagree with while our nation’s military fights our enemies, face wounds and even death. Many live with permanent disability. They obey orders. They do not riot or tell their CO or senior NCO to take a hike.
