Just like a virus the sickness spreads when the healthy flesh around it weakens. All I can say is thank goodness it was a black man who said this and not white guy, or good 'ol Sharpton and Jackson would be on their doorstep with a megaphone tomorrow.

I have a friend who is black.
He has said many times:
‘You can take the black out of the ghetto, but you can NOT take the ghetto out of the black.’

That’s been an issue for years. We have a black friend my wife sold a house to and one of the first questions she asked was “How many blacks live in here?” Of course that question could not be answered. Our friend has blacks living next to her and she’s upset because there’s engine oil dripping on the street from their old clunker. So, you can see, this wasn’t about black.
There is still a major housing and mortgage crisis in our country and it will not go away until the federal government butts out, stops artificcially propping it up and allow the free markets to work on their own without interference. If this causes a further collapse in the housing and mortgage industries, then so be it, if only to allow the housing market to reach the bottom on its own so that once it reaches that bottom, it can start to recover on its own.
The purpose of Section 8 housing is to spread that same virus.
This is the Motor City, and this is what we do.
This has been going on through out history. In the pst, white Protestants looked on in horror as Italian Catholics moved in next door. White Protestants kept Jews as far away as possible. Then when those groups were assimilated they looked on with horror as other ethnic groups moved in. Even with Mexicans and other Latinos—whites and some blacks were horrified as Latinos “took over” neighborhoods but I can tell you that in the poor areas around where I live, Latinos have upgraded the neighborhoods significantly and business is coming back to life. Same with blacks—the “six figure blacks” are better described as “assimilated” blacks—they are just as horrified as anyone else if some ghetto black or some white cracker from the hills moves in next door.
Black flight. It’s the latest big thing. LOL.
Happened on my block where a home went Section 8.

Quickly resulted in loud drunken arguments out in the
street at 2 and 3 AM. Only house in the neighborhood that was causing any problems. Only through a lot of neighborhood pressure and intensive police intervention did things eventually quiet down.
I am pretty sure though if they had been black the latter would never have happened.
I feel kind of bad for my Mexican neighbor who is in forclosure but I won’t miss his massive garbage and multiple cars that he has parked in front of his house. I don’t care who buys his place as long as they are not slobs or gang members.
There is no nastier racism in america than Dependency black vs Successful black... The former hate the latter because they are successful and have succeeded, and the later hate the former because they get lumped in with them by stereotype.

First, it was White-flight to the suburbs...Fear-mongering Jewish real estate agents who made money off of blacks who could suddenly afford to buy their own homes in the urban areas of Detroit.
Now, it’s where the fear-mongering will create incentive to whites and other non-black or non-hispanics out of the suburbs back into Detroit.
It’s still a case of White-flight and it’s meant to enable an eventual take-back of Detroit from the powers-that-had-been.
