A few weeks back she said she was disappointed that Cairo style rioting hadn’t spread to the USA.

It does not appear to be just Beck.. there is a lot of talk on the 'Net about Cloward and Piven.

She and Cloward are two people who believe in fomenting human misery to attempt to obtain their utopia.

Stunning she portrays herself as this frail, harmless old lady. What she and Cloward proposed is lighting everything on fire to get everything to a nice fertile environment for their utopian tyranny.

She and Cloward seem to have made some pretty wide swings at the same goal. At one point they wanted to prevent people from getting welfare as a means of causing them to suffer and they later wanted to collapse the system under the weight of welfare rolls.

They finally settled on wanting as many as possible on welfare and then yanking the rug out from under them as a means of enraging them.

I’d appreciate it more if pacothecat didn’t just act like a blog pimp. A little bit of detail in the post would be useful, unless the only purpose of the post is to drive traffic to a blog. Occasionally responding on a thread would be cool too.

I’m not defending her at all, but I’d like some help answering the argument that the article which earned her and Cloward acclaim/comtempt does not talk about violence or a marxist takeover.

I think I have the answer to the marxist takeover part, because the article is pretty candid about redistribution of wealth and guaranteed income. The other part, as to violence in the C-P Strategy, I’m not so clear on. Yes, the article does talk about creating social turmoil and crashing the welfare system, but it does not seem to be talking about crashing the entire system or inciting widespread violence.

Again, don’t flame me, I’m just looking for a way to counter these arguments. I think she is awful and her interview at the link bespeaks a lying dirtbag.
