SANTA FE, New Mexico (Reuters) The nation's first female Hispanic governor has angered many Latinos with a proposal to repeal a New Mexico state law allowing illegal immigrants to obtain driver's licenses.
Newly-elected Governor Susana Martinez, a Republican who ran on a promise to get tough on illegal immigration, this week added fuel to the fire by using leftover campaign funds to pay for a radio ad urging support for her repeal efforts.

Utah still has a number of folks who believe in cheap field hands, or maybe even miners.

As far as I know Susanna Martinez is an American. Yet the media has to classify everyone for their agenda.

New Mexico because they are Mexican, and Utah and Washington because they use them as cheap labor in the fields, dairies and feedyards.
The many NM Latinos are probably a hand full of Santa Fe activists.
As a Latino I am proud of out governor. More balls than most of the ‘men’ in Santa Fe. She also has a lot of support on this. In fact, she campaigned on this very issue. I have no idea why this is news.
