WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama says Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi must leave now.
Obama made the comments to German Chancellor Angela Merkel in a private telephone conversation Saturday as they discussed the violence in Libya.

And since Obama’s the President of the World, Qaddafi just better comply PDQ. So there.
Since we know that, in 0-speak, “now” can mean “yesterday”, “September”, “pretty soon”, and “whenever you feel like it”, among other things, he’s left himself a lot of wiggle room.
Have yourself another plate of ribs, Barry. It really doesn’t matter.
“The only reason the press would leak this, is because Obama knows Gaddafi has already left the country.”
You may be right on with that one. Barry can’t afford to look like a fool (again).
Where does Obama want Muammar to go?
“President Barack Obama says Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi must leave now. “
In other words, Ghadhafi is already leaving, but Obama will get the credit.
exactly...”present”
If we get enough people in the streets, does that mean Barry has to go too?
He probably heard Gadhafi was leaving and will try to take credit for it.
I hope Merkel told him she was in the Chancellor business, and he should call Western Union if he wanted to send a message.
Another astonishing piece of “smart diplomacy”, calling another leader in private, then immediately rushing to the microphone to reveal what you’ve talked about. This clown needs to get himself an “integrity Czar”, because it’s clear he doesn’t have a clue what it means.
The Euros finally told him what is really happening
A two way conversation that one of the parties to thought was private.
Walk softly and carry a big carrot.
This is getting pathetic. Why doesn't he just pass his press secretary a note with a "Obama doesn't [heart] Gadhafi" on it, to pass on to the press pool? If it was a private phone call, then the message was private, right? Yet, somehow the AP knows, so it wasn't really private or it didn't really happen, but either way, he doesn't really want to own it.
I'm truly tired of this idiot.
I am sure Gadhafi is shaking in his boots.
Yes, he should join Mubarrak for a game of Bunko.
