hmmm, You don't have to be crazy to be a Democrat, but it helps.

. . . and this is suddenly a problem for a Democrat?
It ain't the costume, it's the crazy.
In both cases.

It’s clear he’s had some sort of neurological thing going on for a while.

I’m amazed that at the very beginning they actually come out and identify him as a Democrat. It’s just not done. So gauche. Somebody just might get fired.

I don't see any problem with it. Taking idiotic photo-ops of themselves in goofy costumes is pretty much on-par for liberal politicians. I think the tiger outfit suits him. In fact, I would encourage Congressman Wu to show up for work in the tiger outfit and show it off on the House floor to his colleagues. He could get some nice airtime on C-SPAN.

Perhaps it’s an ethnic thing. Tigers are big in China. Next thing you know, he’ll be showing up at the House in a dragon suit.

Poor Wu, with all the catty comments.

The show, “My Strange Addiction,” did an episode on people who like to dress up in animal constumes, as well as people who liked to eat toilet paper, sofa cushions, and pottery.

I always liked this song, but found the furry animal costumes in the video slightly disturbing:

First off, the tiger costume: It was just Wu dressing up to play with his kids, and he admits it was "unprofessional and inappropriate" to send to his staff. I don't see the problem. If he was dressing up as a tiger to play with his kids, and took a picture of the scene and sent to his staff, who cares? I'd have to say the incident indicates he's kind of a fun loving guy, nothing more. Maybe there's more to it. But generally, I have more respect for grown men that are willing to put on an innocent costume and be photographed.
