Atlanta Tea Party Facing The SEIU State Capitol, 23 February, 4 PM Local
Members of the various Tea Party, 9/12, and other freedom-oriented folks in the Atlanta area will be assembling in the vicinity of Georgia State Capitol this coming Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm. Well be providing balance to the ravings of the passengers aboard the SEIU Thugbus, which is scheduled to vomit forth its stooges at that same place and time.
If you are within three hours drive of ATL, come join us.
Dan and others from RTC will be there, with the usual accoutrements. As always, each participant is responsible for compliance with all applicable local laws.
Rally point will be the corner of Trinity and Washington Streets in front of the Trinity United Methodist Church. Guide on the Gadsden flags. Rendezvous time no later than 3:45 pm local.
There appears to be some regulations re armed protests on the Washington Street side of the Capitol, so attendees are requested to be flexible in your attire. We will attempt (but no promises) to get some additional clarity regarding the situation and post it here prior to the show.
Take a stand.
Join us in Atlanta on Wednesday.
Or hold your own counter-demonstration when the SEIU Thugswarmcomes to your AO.
Watch out SEIU
With all due respect: The unions, and especially the left wants the tea party to bring weapons. Obama would LOVE it if you (God Forbid) use them.
That gives them the ‘ammunition’ to attack the Tea Party in every way possible. You will see endless loops of alleged Tea Party members ‘violence’ on CNN. It would give them permission to enact gun restriction laws.
Do NOT bring a weapon. Your vote is your weapon. Your wallet is your weapon. Your brain is your weapon. Most importantly, your FAITH is your weapon.
Do NOT “face off” with union operatives who would like nothing better than a fight. If you lose- you lose. If you win- you lose.
Suggestion: Bring a camera. Take their pictures. Get their names. Make a record.
No weapons, but bring plenty of big, beefy, tough-looking guys to stand around menacingly.
Any idea what is up in GA? Will the gov and state house/senate take on the unions like WI, FL, OH,IN?
Hope they have a security team.
Bless them.

Thank you for offering these words of wisdom.
Yeah I heard about the potential bloodbath at the first RTC Rally outside of D.C. and again at the North Carolina RTC Rally and yet again at the various Atlanta RTC Rallies I have participated in... the lefties are idiots who are very good at running their mouths... and also very good at keeping their distance from an armed American.
These rallies, with our ACTIVE exhibition of our Constitutional rights (First and Second), are not for everybody, we must all fight back in our own way... But we're basically the TEA Party on steroids.
Most of the participants in RTC are Military/LEO Veterans, so I don't worry about my six during the rallies. You do not have to be armed to show up for this or any RTC event... but it is highly encouraged! ;-)
We'll have to see, Georgia is a "right to work" state and most like it that way, so I doubt if much will change.
Although like many other states there is a union presence here, they are basically on the ropes as more of the members join the looking for work roll, while the leaderships gets the bonuses and no lost work time.
The unions have been cutting their throats for a long time, and their actions now are accelerating the process.
Don’t forget video cameras!
Amazingly enough, we have found that the RTC Open Carry events usually have plenty of cameras and video running around, By us, the "media"... and of course the various State and Federal "alphabet agencies". ;-)
At some point the ‘pre-game’ has to end.
There are many that agree with you and the list grows daily...
Are we still meeting at Trinity? Just asking, because I heard an announcement on the radio that said the meeting place would be off MLK. Has there been a change?
Last email I had from RTC had the meeting place at the corner of Trinity and Washington Street in front of the Trinity United Methodist Church... might be one of the other groups at MLK.
GA is a right to work state. We do not have government unions other than the ones for the feds and the teachers associations...
