The Wisconsin workers who have staged a week-long protest against their union-busting governor are getting some Big Apple reinforcements.
Teamsters Local 237, which represents various city workers, intends to bus a couple hundred members to Madison possibly this week, Deputy Director Pete Gutierrez told The Daily News.

LOL
Between dese guys and da boys Bloomie flew ova dare to dat #ing Airyzona sandtrap, whosa gonna fix da broken stuff here in New Yawk... ya’ know wad I’m sayin’..
I would love for a reporter on the ground to ask some key questions:
Where is the Rathskellar? The UW Union
What are the 5 lakes of Madison? Monona, Mendota, Wingra, Kegonsa, Waubesa
What is the name of the land between the two largest ones? the isthmus
Where is the farmers market held? The square
Who was the Pail and Shovel gang? UW student govt of the 70s
This will ferret out the carpetbaggers!
Big Apple to Madison, WI, is over 900 miles, probably 20 hours. I don’t want to be anywhere near those buses!
Wow, Good test!
I couldn’t even name 5 beer breweries.
And while all the union thugs are busy in Wisconsin, about 10 other states will pass similar laws including Ohio, Indiana, and Tennessee.
It is pretty obvious that these union pukes have too much money and time on their hands. Do you think they already have their NY sick slips?
This is the point of no return. Walker knows he can not give in. He must stand firm and resolute because if the Unions get one single concession, they will pull this bullying crap in every single instance this moment forward. And it won’t be just Unions. These liberal fools are using Egypt as their inspiration to protest. Just wait and see what they do when healthcare is repealed.
NY City is a different world.
It is so quick you better be able to respond or they will burry you.
Frankly, I loved it.
Why hasn’t Walker called in the National Guard to end this chaos?
I HAD to join the Teamsters when I worked as a vendor at Riverfront stadium. I made about $35/day selling hot dogs for an average of 3 games per week. And the dues were $50.
don’t see a lot of difference between the mafia and the tactics of these union thugs.
These union officials are in with the communist party it’s worse than you think.
I’m sure the people of Wisconsin appreciate out of staters sticking their nose in their business.
Just saw on Fox Chicago local news—busloads of union supporters from Illinois who spent the day in Madison. Looks like alot of people in those crowds that are gathering are not just Wisconsin-ites.
Time for RICO Act???
In the Olden Days, a bill would be brought up by a legislative body and, if passed, was sent to the ranking executive for his signature so that the bill would become law. Was I doing a Rip Van Winkle when that changed? Apparently, the new modus operandus, perhaps borrowed from the Middle Eastern “Street,” is that whoever gets more people to show up for demonstrations is declared the winner, and gets to pass (or veto) any bill that they choose.
Now why’d you go and give the ANSWERS!!!!
That would be a resounding no. Even some of the teachers themselves are ticked.
I’m NOT “imaging” this....I’ve HEARD it.
I do NOT want the Guard called out..I just want these yahoos to continue being so....they’re turning off a LOT of people back there...
