Washington (CNN) - Michelle Obama is taking heat from talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh after a report in the Vail Daily that she consumed a not-so-healthy-meal of ribs for dinner while on a recent visit to the Colorado resort, the latest example of conservative angst directed at the first lady's healthy-eating initiative.
"The problem is, and dare I say this, it doesn't look like Michelle Obama follows her own nutritionary, dietary advice," Limbaugh said Monday on his radio program. "And then we hear that she's out eating ribs at 1,500 calories a serving with 141 grams of fat per serving."

I suppose it was too much to expect CNN to cover the Facebook/MySpace faux members invented by the Admin to stifle or shape public opinions.

I love it. Boehner and McConnell are so low key, the media/dems (is there a difference?) have not been able to paint them as extremists. So what does the media do? It goes after an entertainer. Limbaugh, that magnificent bast@rd, holds no elective office. Yet CNN is treating him like the head of the republican party.
They really don’t have a foil in the republican party to help sell Obama as a centrist. There is no Gingrich to Clinton comparison available, so they go after Limbaugh.
Love it. They must really be getting worried about 2012.
If he’s taking aim at her waistline, he should be able to get in a good shot. ;)
Seriously, though, he was criticizing her for telling people to do one thing, then turning around and doing another.

this is no more hypocritical than Algore living in a $9 million mansion.
You see, the elites can eat what they want, consume as much energy as they want, etc,
because they know better how to do it “in moderation” as M.O. said about the Superbowl party food.
And YOU, you don’t know how to consume in moderation and need someone really smart like her to restrict your intake.
This is how they think, so pointing out any hypocrisy will fall on deaf ears.

So it is not OK for Limbaugh to point out she doesn’t practice what she preaches? And CNN jumps on that as a news story versus a person in the White House attempting to control eating?

I’d love to watch her eat ribs. Though the dog wouldn’t be happy - not the tiniest amount of meat left on the bone. (Bet she has sauce all over her face too.)
