So, 50,000 to 15,000? I could be wrong, but I’m doubting that the obammunists will be very embarrassed by that.

Of course, 15,000 is pretty encouraging.

Wonderful. Just wonderful. Still wondering where the fire marshall is, with the squatters overwhelming the interior of a landmark building like the state capital. Any word on that being allowed to continue?????

I was really opposed to the Tea Party going. Thought it would distract from the anarchist union self destructing for all to see all by themselves with no help from us.
Tuned out it was fine.

Good job by the conservatives/Walker supporters and Tea Party members.

The problem that the tea party faces regarding turnout is the reality that they are opposing a mob who gets to protest with the day off with pay, riding in with the day off on a free bus paid for by political apparatus, supported by a sympathetic media.

The beauty of the situation is that those opposing the unions loose a day at work, maybe their job... And get to pay those they oppose while their children who were not bussed in get to run wild while the schools are shut down and papa went away.

Tis is a no win. The state shall ride this pig off the cliff.

We all see the edge, and it is too late.

sadly us people with JOBS are gonna have to speak up more like this.
normally the left is able to out gun conservatives when it comes to protesting. Seeing as the collage student/hippie/professional activist crowd has nothing better to do during a avg work day.

if conservatives dont want to get steamrolled...we are gonna have to get out of our daily rut of work/kids and go protest during the ....egads!!...daytime.

use a vac /sick day whatever...lol

The AP today estimated that 70,000 protesters turned out in Madison today. If that number is accurate then at least 15,000 were Walker supporters. This was a huge embarrassment to the left.

Great pics, but WHY was there virtually no TV coverage of the pro-Gov. Walker ralliers? Even Fox News spent maybe 60 seconds on the Patriots countering the union goons. Grr!!

The governor has spoken. Nothing changes, they might as well go to Columbus. I look forward to their weary asses in Nashville. Let them explain why children have no incentive to learn.

The unions are motivated by greed. The 15,000 who came to support a sane budget, came for love of country. The unions lie, cheat and steal to get their pound of flesh from the people.

Wow ! My wife and I went to Madison on Sat. What a crazy experience and a chance to be part of history. The union side was chanting about how their march represented democracy and nobody interfered with their ability to voice their opinions.

But when it came time for Walker supporters to voice their opinion, the union crowd started blasting air horns and screaming at the top of their lungs. It was obvious then that the idea of democracy only applied to the union crowd.

At work, I thank our customers for doing business with us as I know who I work for.......Not once was I thanked by a public employee for helping to pay their salary and benefits package.

What on Earth do they have to be embarrassed about? 15K to over 50K. Yeah sure they were embarrassed......even conservatives exaggerate in stories....how sad.

Choosing up sides, it looks like it’s:

Wisconsin (and Walker) versus Madison & the public unions
Michigan (and Snyder) versus Detroit & the UAW
New Jersey (and Christie) versus Trenton & those unions
Minnesota versus St. Paul
Texas versus Austin
The United States (& Palin, Ryan, DeMint, Limbaugh) versus Washington
