Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Sunday called on Muslims to "remove" the US from the Islamic world.
"The main problem in the Muslim world is the presence of the United States. It is the biggest problem. We need to address that," he told a gathering of Shiite and Sunni scholars in Tehran for an international conference on Islam.
"It is necessary to remove the US from the Islamic world," the all-powerful cleric and Islamic republic's commander-in-chief said, adding that the country's arch-foe was currently weak.
Khamenei urged Muslims worldwide to preserve the "people's movement in Egypt," saying it was the duty of both the people and dignitaries of Arab nations and the entire Islamic community.
He reiterated that the Arab revolts were "Islamic" and must be consolidated.
"The enemies try to say that the popular movements in Egypt, Tunisia and other nations are un-Islamic, but certainly these popular movements are Islamic and must be consolidated," he said.
Khamenei also urged that "the conspiracy of enemies to create differences between Sunnis and Shiites" be confronted.
On February 4, in his Friday prayer sermon, Khamenei called for an Islamic regime to be installed in Egypt, a week before that country's strongman Hosni Mubarak was ousted.

Khamenei also urged that “the conspiracy of enemies to create differences between Sunnis and Shiites” be confronted.
I do have to agree with him: It’s either us or them.
I'm pretty sure, Khamei-dude, if you're willing to meet the Sunnis half way and dump the hidden imam schtick, peace will break-out amoung the Muslim world. Just think, free skittles and unicorns for everyone.
Better idea: Remove Islam from the entire world.

I’d be happy to remove us from the “Islamic world”. The next step would be to remove all the Islamics from our world and deport them back to the hellholes they came from. Then maybe we could drill for our own oil and gas and tell them to go pound sand.

OK...Then, the islamic world must be removed from the US....turnabout is fair play, after all....
Sorry Ali, but the biggest problem that the "muslim world" has is that it's overrun with muslims.
The muslims were a problem hundreds, if not thousands of years before the founding of the USA.
All I can think of is that the best way to deal with muslim countries would be to build a 20' wall around them and then fill them with 19'6" of concrete.

With the exception of some trade in oil, exactly why do we WANT to play a role in the Islamic world?
Beyond oil, they don’t offer much of anything we can’t get elsewhere at a better price and much less risk of terrorism. So fine, let’s leave!
Withdraw all armed forces and embassies, close off all trade and other contact (thereby saving billions in foreign aid) and let the Islamic world enjoy the quiet and solitude of their isolationist lifestyle. And of course we reciprocate by removing all traces of Islam from our free world.

I believe that will happen. This administration thinks they have that area on a leash, they have no idea what they are up against, or maybe they know exactly what is going on. Eitherway, they encouraged and are continuing to encourage the opening of this ‘pandoras box’.

Islam must be removed from the world.....
This is very serious stuff and cannot be taken lightly. The Muslems have become part of or infiltrated the social, political, and religeous environment of this Nation. A moderate Muslem is still a Muslem with all the teachings of the Koran. There is no valid comparison between a Catholic, Morman, Lutheran, and many other like USA religeous persons and the Muslem of any degree. The time will come because of Muslem Sharia Law that choices will have to be made, be it positive, negative, or neutral as to what laws rule the USA. Very much contrary to the many statements Obama has made to try and establish Muslems with Sharia as one of the founding sects of our Nation, Muslem influence in the USA has been negligible if not zero until just the last several decades. Influence bought by making and keeping, with help of politicians and industrialists, dependent on Muslem oil. We should not forget that many USA soldiers lost their lives fighting the German empire which at the time had an alliance with Muslem nations.
Positives for Palin getting into the Wisconsin controversey. She showed a spirit and character worthy for POTUSA. However. if I read correctly , her light takes on the significance of Obama’s Muslem leanings/beliefs doesn’t show much regard for centuries of Muslem conflicts. Any POTUSA will have to deal with such, be it positive or negative, not neutral.

I don’t take this to mean “get out of the mideast and Africa”. I take this to mean destroy the US, since any country with muslim inhabitants is considered by them to be Islamic. I think this is a bigger threat than many who have responded seem to think. And it must be responded to firmly, without equivocation. Unfortunately, the man in the main office is more likely to capitulate than to lead an effective counterattack.
