Overall, 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president’s performance. Fifty-four percent (54%) disapprove.
Wait until next week!
Rassmussen’s poll jumps up and down all the time.I’ve lost confidence in it’s accuracy.
Blacks + Union Thugs + Mind-Numbed College Students and Professors = 23% approval...
That is probably the base of the Demorat party!
I was driving down Sunset Blvd. here in LA yesterday and saw a big negative photo of Obama on the sidewalk and a huge sign saying IMPEACH OBAMA. A big friendly crowd had gathered.
Yes.
It IS the base of the party!
Indeed. And I’ve noticed it’s also soppy, big-hearted, well meaning but deluded [mostly] females.
In LA?
Wait until next week!
Wait until this summer, high gas prices, rampant unemployment, Woo hoo! His rating will be in the crapper while we suffer.
Yes but don’t include all professors. I think most of the arts and science types are Rats but lots of professors in the business departments and engineering are conservative-perhaps because they have worked in the private sector for part of their lives.
Most Rat professors that I know had the following career path K-12, 4 years of college, 4-6 years of graduate school, post doc fellowship or assistant professor and then promotion and tenure. Except for summer jobs, no work in the private sector (working for your professor does not count).
Amazing, huh? A big, enthusiastic IMPEACH OBAMA mob!
In LA.
The country sees all these problems and he quits his job to become President of the Union in Wisconsin.
23% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve
Am I correct in saying that this is lowest level of those who strongly approve?
I still don’t understand what he said during the SOTU that gave him a bounce.
He sounded like a fool.
The typical math:
33% of population -- Conservative base
33% of population -- Liberal base
33% of population -- Undecided/uninterested Independents
If the Liberal base is down to 23%, that's good. Because I don't think 33% of the people are currently uninterested. This is a remarkable moment in history, and Obama is pretty clearly on the wrong side of history, with few supporters. The media hides the truth, but the truth is out there.
Interesting that it took extension of Bush policies to reduce his disapproval rating. And you're probably right, the Pontificator-in-Chief's temporary improvement in the polls will swiftly disappear as high gas prices, sustained unemployment, inflationary pressures, inept foreign policy, etc. come back into focus again.
