I can't make an educated statement on Rassmussen's accuracy, but for as long as I have been paying attention, the week to week fickleness of the average dumb a$$ citizen is off the chart. What can one expect from people that change their vote to a candidate because his dog got hit by a car? The massiveness of the "sympathy vote" phenomenon demonstrates my point.

I think the weekend poll response causes the adjustment to the trend, but basically Rasmussen has been the standard for nearest accuracy, at least in the big elections, so much that the others have picked up on their method.
Translation: The others actually poll Republicans now! :)
It is not Rasmussen’s fault is is brainwashed idiots watching Obama TV which is ALL of TV.
It is a three day rolling average and the average will change with the people who they sample.
