I you think that was ‘cheap’ and you want to have some fun.

Just check his tax returns. Like all Libs, I will bet you would be surprised at what you will find.

Quail, pigeon, what’s the difference? About the same size. He should have said something before he ate it. BTW, if they were at a fancy restaurant you better believe the Union dues paid for that regardless of his rant. He’ll just put in a chit and be reimbursed. His picture says it all.

Paul Egan has already sent this letter to the restaurant manager:

Manager
Marche
74 State Street
Albany, NY 12207
info@74state.com

Dear Sir:

I write to make you aware of an incident on February 14, 2011 at your establishment.

The circumstances are these:

On the night of Feb ruary 14, 2011, I hosted a dinner for 24 colleagues. A number of untoward incidents occurred, including half the party not getting served for an hour and a half, late and rude service, drinks hot and cold spilled bny waiters and cald and uncooked meals.

Despite the rudeness shown to us by restaurant employees, and their refusal of my repeated requests to speak directly to the manager on duty, I paid the bill in full—even though the first bill presented to me was for 30 meals rather then the 25 guests who actually attended.

Let me add that the problems of that evening were entirely uncharacteristic of what my colleagues and I usually experience at your restaurant, where I generally find the food excellent, the service first-rate, and the atmosphere more than hospitable.

Sincerely,

Paul Egan
52 Broadway
New York, NY 1004

Obviously, something at that restaurant by Egan’s “colleagues” set the restaurant staff off. What could that have been? Perhaps some protest exuberance carry over in an establishment that is used to more decorum?

Investigate and arrest members of the “Congressional Progressive Caucus” and union bosses and Declare all States “Right to Work” states, no more forced compulsory union dues in order to keep your job.

Defund the marxist trade and government worker unions.

No one will pay union dues voluntarily.

Let the union workers give themselves a raise by not having to pay any more dues.

The next POTUS must cripple and imprison the corrupt and degenerate marxist public and private sector union leadership by declaring all States “Right to Work States”

He pretty well embodies the union ethos.

Who do the NY Italian “bosses” back up - the local eateries or the union thugs. Just asking.

Ah yes ... humble public servants who now, because of their privileged position as tools of the government class, have assumed the imperious air of Roman Senators.

A source with ties to the union said it's not the first time Egan has been kicked out of a restaurant after making a scene. "He's done this more than once, though he never got escorted out by the police before that I know of," the source said.

I knew a guy who regularly pulled this stunt. He got free meals this way all the time. Looks like somebody called this turkey's bluff.

And with Egan apparently worked into a froth over the size of his quail in the $40

If he wants the big game on a quail hunt, I suggest that Mr. Egan goes out with Dick Cheney for an afternoon.

Paul Egan, teachers union boss in restaurant stir, had role in 2000 student cheating scandal

Long before getting rowdy while ringing up nearly $2,000 on dinner and drinks at the swank Marché bistro in Albany, Paul Egan was identified as a major player in a cheating scandal in a 2000 city investigative report.

Assemblyman Joel Miller, the ranking member of the Education Committee, said Egan should be fired.

The cheating scandal alone means Egan “should not be involved in education,” said Miller (R-Pougkeepsie). “He should have been gone a long time ago.”

Egan, who was proctoring a math test when the cheating occurred, refused to apologize Wednesday for the booze-fueled meal melee - and ripped the restaurant in an angry letter.

I worked for a temporary secretarial agency several years ago. One of the jobs was at a union office where the union bigshots would meet. They didn’t speak obscenely to me, but you couldn’t help overhearing them talking in the next office. I heard words there that were like juvenile delinquents trying to outdo each other making up trashy cuss words. Tough guys; punks. Today, I’d walk out the first fifteen minutes; should have done then.

"Why do you want to talk to me, so you can keep making fat jokes?" United Teachers Federation lobbyist Paul Egan asked the Daily News Thursday outside his home.

Meet Paul Egan — chiseler, cheat and United Federation of Teachers honcho Michael Mulgrew’s main man in Albany.

Egan claims the restaurant incident was about poor service, not tab chiseling.

After all, Egan himself was cited 10 years ago by then-Special Schools Investigator Edward Stancik for helping kids he allegedly was teaching at IS 133 cheat on math exams — eventually spending five months in one of the Department of Education’s notorious rubber rooms.

Then he lands in the union job — an interesting, if not instructive, career progression: For Egan, neither kids nor taxpayers ever get an even break.

A hulking teacher’s union honcho whose big mouth got him bounced by cops from an Albany restaurant after he complained his quail was too small was previously reprimanded as a teacher after being accused of brazenly helping test-taking students cheat, officials said today.

Food-lovin’ lobbyist Paul Egan was named in a scathing 2000 report by the Department of Education investigator as helping a group of Bronx middle-school students taking a city-wide math exam get the right answers to the test by using “several different methods to cheat.”

The then-investigator, Edward Stancik, said Egan while proctoring the 1999 exam “purposely displayed the answers to the first 11 questions by leaving them unguarded on his desk for the students to find,” and that he urged students to check individual answers after seeing they had gotten them wrong.
