As the week has progressed, Wisconsin and the Nation have watched schools across Wisconsin close due to teachers participating in a sick out, the unions bussing people in from other states to inflate their rally numbers in Madison and legislators fleeing the state to avoid the vote on the budget repair bill.
Its time the voices of the Wisconsin people are heard.
We've had thousands of people show up for tea party events to rally to take our state back - but our work isn't done. Let's have our voices heard once again and show our state legislators that we support this bill. We need concerned Wisconsin citizens to show up at noon on Saturday, February 19th to voice our support for Gov. Walker and our conservative legislators! Tell your friends--let's set a turn out record! Remember to be peaceful and bring those signs!See More
I knew Scott from college - Really wish I could be there to show some support.
Good for you. Thanks all of you for going.
This governor is very impressive.
I wish I couls Be there But I am Stuck In Ct. We have a Mirror Image of Wisconsin in all But One aspect,we have Panty Waist Liberals In Charge.
Here is the story, Like Wisconsin, Ct. Has A 3.5 Billion Dollar Deficit ,and Instead of confronting the Teachers Union Our newly elected Democrat Govenor has announced his 150 billion dollar tax increase on the Public, including closing “Loop Holes” Meaning:those things that have never been taxed Before Like Shoes ,Manicures,Pedicures, sun tans,Higher gas Taxes ,Beer,Food. He has Stated this is to Make sure Government Pensions are Funded, now to be Fair he has ASKED the Union for 2 Billion dollars in concessions so that there will be SHARED sacrifice. The Response from the AFL-CIO President is ,We want the Governor to Increase the Taxes on the Rich! No Concessions from the Union,so if Governor Walker is Listening he can Point to Ct. When the Press asks him why he just doesnt Have a Conversation with the Union.
God Bless Governor Walker Keep up the Good work I believe Most Americans Are with you in this Fight and when The Marxist in the White House Calls Tell Him “You Won”
What happens in just a few hours will be an example if not the tone of conservative values vs. socialistic oppression across America.
I can feel it all the way up here in Alaska. Strength and determination be with all of you there. Be strong, wise and careful!
Funny. I think the time lag would be greater, though. Obama's brain is much slower than that. I'm guessing on the order of tens of seconds.
The 347 ways Connecticut collects taxes now. Malloy to add to it...
From what I remember there was never any live two way instant communication with any astronauts on the moon with earth, each one way transmission took a minute or two just to travel, what we saw mostly was speeded up conversations, the round trip communication I think each time was something like three minutes.
Yes a debate with Obama would be like talking to the man on the moon.
I would go but im a hot head and would probably take a swing at a union thug getting in my face. Not the time for that right now. God did not give me the patience for assholes.
Same here, I would get too easily riled up if confronted, nobody gets in my face and stays standing.
I would be there if it wasn’t 780 miles away! This will play out in other areas, including my home state of Tennessee (I suspect). I think I’ll be heading to Nashville in a few weeks to fight the same battle, and believe me, I WILL not back down to the union thugs. They have bitten off much more than they can chew. And, given that the commie in the White Hut is on their side further invigorates me to stand my ground.
Standing with you in spirit from the great right to work state of Tennessee.
I would urge you to go. I'm the same type of person as you - I'd like nothing more than to punch the snot out of a few of these freeloading, overbearing crybaby thugs. But I've gone on a few excursions to Washington and elsewhere over the last 2 years or so anyway. I just take my camera and busy myself taking pictures.
The more, the merrier! If you can moderate yourself or busy yourself somehow while you are there, I recommend that you go if for no other reason than to reinforce the Republicans that are standing tall in this battle. If you have to, stay in the background and keep quiet.
Sure. After three minutes, it would be clear to anyone with a functioning brain that Walker carried God's anointing of leadership while the impostor did not. And at the conclusion of the debate, we would all be reminded ad infinitum by the Drive-By Media about the absolute brilliance of the One. The press would eagerly report on the failure of Walker to ascend to the level of intelligence that is demanded for engaging someone who creates such tingling-leg emotional outburst in the Self-Anointed.
Well, I have to agree with him.
I am also way too much of a hot head for these types of things.
Libs/Thugs have a way of “physically assaulting” without ever seemingly taking a direct action, and I cannot tolerate that.
What I mean is, they don’t punch or push, but have this sort of spitting in your face from 1 inch away, bumping your chest, group nudging intimidation tactic that I just can’t let fly.
When that occurs, I’m simply going to punch you right in the face, kick you in your disgustingly fat stomach, or simply just crush your nose into your face.
Problem is, then you usually get arrested because all they did was “chest bump and spit in your face.” It takes a lot of patience to let that kind of behavior go, and I just don’t have it.
Well, I am prepared for the battle here in Florida too when another Scott, that’s Rick Scott will be doing the same thing.
I’m planning on going to document the events.
Everyone needs to be prepared for the unions and anarchists to incite things. The Wisconsin teachers I’ve dealt with have been courteous and non-violent, but outside activists have been streaming into the state in the last few days.
No matter what people say or do to get you riled up, just let it pass. Conservatives won at the ballot box in November and the left is having a temper tantrum like a spoiled toddler. They can yell all they want. Conservatives are the grown ups telling them they can’t have any more candy.
I would suggest people be prepared for the worst, though.
Know your surroundings. Look for safe exits to avoid problems. If your gut says to get out, follow your instincts. It’s better to get out before trouble starts.
Also, be prepared for the possibility of tear gas. The Madison police have used it in the past.
Don’t wear contact lenses.
Carry a bandana or similar cloth and some vinegar to soak it in. You can use this as a short-term gas mask to get out of the area.
Keep a couple bottles of water to wash out your eyes and rinse your mouth and face.
Good move.
Also, continue with the recall petition for the Democrat senators.
Wow! Impressive Governer indeed...well worth the listen in understanding from the horses mouth exactly what is going on with their pensions and healthcare and more. He has a firm understanding of what he is doing and why this is the way he is handling the issues. Easy to listen to the Gov. he doesn’t mince words or use double talk.
Thank you for posting this. Well worth the time to listen and hopefully other Governors will learn from this guy.
Good advice but in these days of cell phone cameras also know how to record a movie with that. Get er done!
