Moments ago, Rep. Tom Graves was arguing that the amendment to defund the implementation of the national health care would stop the law dead in its tracks.
...
"In two previous gentlemens statements on the amendment, both of them referred to the Affordable Care Act, which is the accurate title of the health care reform law, as ObamaCare," Wasserman Schultz said. "That is a disparaging reference to the President of the United States. It is meant as a disparaging reference to the President of the United States. It is clearly in violation of the House rules."

I recall the term "tea-bagger" used repeatedly.
That is not only disrespectful, it's obscene.

So the democrats now maintain that the bill is evil and being connected to it is insulting - while at the same time trying to keep the courts from tossing the whole thing out?
Thank you Congressman Schizophrenia.

So the new health care act was supposed to be good for the people but naming it after its creator is bad? I get it...

Wasserman Schultz might as well have been on the Death Panel board in regards to Terri Schiavo. What power they now have...they don’t even need a judge anymore.

If you leave it up to the Commie Rat Speech Police, Republicans will have to start using mental telepathy to debate their sorry, deceitful, larcenous legislation on floor of Congress, all of which is justifiably eligible for disparagement.

This is the presidents legislation.
The only reason it is disparaging, is that it is a cruddy bill, and everyone knows it.

No, in this case I have to agree with this idiot. Obamacare is an oxymoron (speaking of morons...). It should be called: Obama-lack-of-care as in the Obama-lack-of-care no-care Federal health insurance ripoff plan.
