Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), the Tea Party Princess, played a noxious game of dodge ball with George Stephanopoulos this morning when he asked her whether she believed that President Obama was born in the United States and is not a Muslim. Leave it to the Tea Party Queen -- Sarah Palin -- to show Bachmann and others in the Republican Party the right way to answer the question.
"Do you question his faith and citizenship?" Palin was asked today during an onstage interview hosted by the Long Island Association. Her answer was brief and to the point.
"I don't, and those are distractions," she said to some applause. "What we're concerned about is the economy. And we're concerned about the policies coming out of his administration and what he believes in terms of big government or private sector. So, no, the faith, the birth certificate, others can engage in that kind of conversation. It's distracting. It gets annoying and let's just stick with what really matters."

Oh man, I thought the birthers looked up to her. Heh, now they are making excuses. Who would have thunk it? /sarc
LOLOL!
What the hell have you done moron?
They are sold on the personality. They ignore the fact that she has never really broken her ties with McCain.
What is breathtaking is their blind faith. She created an image they have bought hook, line and sinker.
You must be a really bad chess player.
The Tea Parties and the citizens were fighting Obama before she was.
All she does is talk.
Yeah, you're right. There are so few left in the Republican Party who give a rip what the Constitution requires.
Yeah, but she doesn’t even focus on the real issues.
Since JACKASSES cannot run on a ‘record of accomplishment’, they’ve conducted focus groups with rabid LIEberals and think they can garner enough votes for a win by painting their opposition as “birther kooks”. Herman Cain called it right....

From the WaPo article above quoting Palin:
"Do you question his faith and citizenship?" Palin was asked today during an onstage interview hosted by the Long Island Association. Her answer was brief and to the point.
"I don't, and those are distractions," she said to some applause. "What we're concerned about is the economy.
From the CNN article quoting Bachmann:
"We should take the president at his word," Bachmann said. Then asked if she'd be willing to flat out state the president is a citizen and Christian, the congresswoman said she was more focused on economic concerns.
You're a hoot pissant, you really are.
Palin gets it right
It's a sight to behold.
Gee, I had no idea the two were mutually exclusive!
Politicians understand how to get elected. I'm not sure I'd want a leader who didn't understand it. Given the alternatives.
She takes him at his word that he’s a Christian, dumbnuts.
For every liberal Palin policy they have an excuse. There is an excuse for everything.
She sticks her finger in the air to see which way the wind is blowing. That is how she makes decisions. It is so obvious.
Really?
How on earth is that more courageous??
RE: America needs a leader, not another politician.
Absolutely!!!!!!!
Obama has NEVER said he’s an NBC.
