Latest radio report. Heading for Chicago?
Hubby and I are heading to Chicago Sat. night to celebrate anniversay...will keep my eye out for the rascals. lol.
“Fourteen brave Democrats in the Wisconsin state Senate have fled their state...”
Brave Sir Robins, every one!
Yeah, that's true, same with the andriod. They can go up to facebook too. I was just thinking old school, I guess, even though I have that capability myself. (I'm just old.)
There is a picture of one of the waitresses from the ‘Tilted Kilt’ being shopped around the net right now...no wonder the Dems chose this place to hunker down. They must be p*ssed if they got the boot from the staff...
It’d just take a few good Republican lawyers (to research it all to make sure that it can be done) and a decision by the Wisconsin House Republicans to go for it. Maybe a few well-connected Wisconsin freepers can suggest it to their reps. Not living there, I don’t know if I’m right...but it seems so based on the language of the Constitution.
Brave Sir Robin ran away - No!
Bravely ran away, away - I didn’t!
When danger reared its ugly head
He bravely turned his tail and fled - No!
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
And gallantly he chickened out
Bravely taking to his feet
He beat a very brave retreat
Bravest of the brave, Sir Robin
(Monty Python — you had to ask? :-) )
Yes, they beat a very brave retreat.
SECTION 7. Each house shall be the judge of the elections, returns and qualifications of its own members; and a majority of each shall constitute a quorum to do business, but a smaller number may adjourn from day to day, and may compel the attendance of absent members in such manner and under such penalties as each house may provide.
How about levying a $10,000 a day fine for each member?
I wonder if Chicago refuses to arrest them if WI could send over the National Guard to take them.
Most likely by Senate Rule. Just like the filbuster isn’t a constiutional requirement.
What a waste of good looks on a Gore supporting so and so.

The Madison School District is continuing to monitor the school staffing situation and all other available information and will notify families this evening when a determination about schools opening or closing tomorrow is made.

So Brave...
Willful abrogation of duty can be interpreted as a resignation by the executive branch of the government.
If your boss tells you to come into work, and you refuse, its the same thing as saying I Quit.
The governor should proceed along those lines.
Yep, generally.
GMTA! ;-)
I LIKE how you think!
This whole thing goes into the “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up” file.
I mean, union-owned politicians to Chicago? Where do you start — swallows to Capistrano, moths to the flame, muzzies to Mecca, flies to . . . ?
