While the world reels in shock over CBS reporter Lara Logan's sexual assault in Egypt, another American journalist is causing a different kind of outrage, calling Logan a "warmonger"
Nir Rosen, an NYU fellow who has extensively covered the Iraq War, made the insensitive remarks during a Twitter rant on Tuesday.

Just my opinion of course.
Lowlifes and jihadis blame the female victim.
I’m skeptical about “bringing democracy” to a subhuman hellhole festering with savages and uncivilized brutes.
Democracy is what these people want.
The problem is, the majority of Egyptians want Islamic Rule and war with Israel. Mubarak kept the wolves at bay for 30+ years.
I blame CBS for putting her there in the first place. Now, if she comes back saying ‘These men were not part of the freedom loving protestors’ I’ll have a big problem with her. Get it into your heads liberals that these people are from another century and they have zero respect for women.
This other person. I don’t know who he is, so who cares what he posted at Twitter.

“Only a lowlife would blame the female victim for being attacked. “
There comes a point where one has to be responsible for their decisions. If I decide to pet a polar bear and it eats me, who’s to blame?
I think it’s disgusting that those animals in Egypt would attack someone like that. However, it doesn’t take a genius to predict that they would. An attractive western woman who would go to a muslim country in turmoil, and put herself in a crowd of relatively lawless muslim men, is guilty of very poor judgement. To those muslims, she is a slut, an infidel, and deserving whatever happens to her.
It’s not fair, but it is reality.

very true
Nir Rosen just resigned from NYU.
I, for one, haven't reeled in shock this much since J.R. got shot.
If this is such a big deal then let's hear what really happened, instead of this focus group phrase "sexually assaulted" that keeps being mouthed. When I hear exactly the same thing said in exactly the same way by all the media outlets I become a little bit suspicious.
We laughed about Anderson Cooper being roughed up, but now we have to be so solemn and shocked, maybe even reel a bit. Should I feel male guilt? I don't feel guilty when kids go into the polar bear den at the zoo and get eaten. Does anyone remember Daniel Pearl?
Where's Oprah in all this? She should be comforting the poor girl.
Signing off now. I've got to reel about the room a bit. Not too much, though. It's a small room.
You’d be surprised how many Freepers think Logan deserved what she got. Look at some of the other threads about this incident.
“Only a lowlife would blame the female victim for being attacked.”
You haven’t seen some of the threads around here, recently, have you?
Apples and oranges.
A woman in a park in America should have a different set of expectations of safety than a woman in the midst of a crowd of muslim men in a country that is in turmoil.
You seem to be thinking like those folks on the left. They apply standards of human behavior to muslims, and expect that the muslims will behave as civilized humans. muslims may be human, but the are not civilized.
I ask you again, if I go to the Artic, and decide to pet a polar bear, and it eats me, who is to blame?
Exactly right. Look folks, if it was a man that got beaten to a pulp, would we draw back and withhold stating the obvious, he used very poor judgment entering that group?
How many of us walk through bad parts of town at night? Do we tempt fate by doing so, just because we ought to be able to?
I’m sorry this woman was assaulted in such a manor. Nobody deserves that. Still I really wish she had used better judgment. I urge women to avoid places late at night where they might be assaulted. I would have urged this woman to stay out of that crowd too.
We know there are absolute animals on those streets in Cairo. She’s lucky she escaped with her life IMO.
Is it right that women should have to avoid certain places, for fear of being harmed? No. It’s not right that men should have to either, but sensible men do it none the less.
Sounds like ‘Larry the lounge lizard’ Nir got rejected by Lara some time in the past?
No, only a Muslim.
Well, I guess that is the same thing.
