Was she actually raped? I know she was sexually assaulted, but that doesn’t necessarily mean rape. Have you seen an article that says she was raped?
Sexually assaulted doesn’t sound like a lot of fun, either, and I don’t think any of us would enjoy being sexually assaulted by a mob (of Muslims or anything else). And nobody “deserves” it or should have to cover it up.
If she was just groped, I don’t think a sexual aspect would have been mentioned- it would have just been described as “assault”. For the media, who are usually surprisingly sensitive to privacy in these cases, to have used the term “sexual assault” it must have been something obvious enough that it would have come out eventually anyway.
