The page says to get your union refund, you will be ending your union membership. My union is not listed. There are not many details on the web page.

My union is not listed either.

I don’t need this. What I NEED is paycheck protection to be passed here in California state. Arnold tried to get that passed in the special election his first year when the Nurses Union and Teachers Union combined to clean his clock.

I wish the CA GOP would quit complaining about the flood of union money going to fund Democratic party politicians, and would get Paycheck Protection passed, so that EVERY CA union has to get explicit permission in advance to use union money to fund political campaigns.

I guarantee that the flood of union money going to Democratic party re-election campaigns would run dry if we had paycheck protection, and each and every year the union had to get permission in advance. Oh sure, there would be a huge annual push by the unions to get this permission and many would be coerced into it, but even if we could deprive Democrats of half the current money, it would helf the GOP greatly.

Union money is a big reason why the Democratic Party has a monopoly on California government at all levels.

I don't see that on there. It does say:

There are 387 union members who have resigned their union or requested a refund thanks to UnionRefund.org. Get involved today!

My union is not listed.

Not sure if this will help but you may need to click on the state in which your "local" is administered. I checked for my dad's union in Vermont but found it listed in Vermont.

I did it many years ago as a member of IAM-AW. You remain a "core member", without voting privileges. You still pay dues, but they are lessened by a rather small amount.

The Union district sent a rep to visit me at work to try to dissuade me. I informed him that my objection was the portion of my dues that went to political candidates who were pro-abortion.

He was quite polite, said he respected my opinion, while disagreeing. I never had any trouble with the district, or my local officials who were my side-by-side co-workers. Being the only female missile inspector might have helped too.

One thing that distinguishes a union like IAM-AW from SEIU is that IAM-AW membership is generally comprised of skilled workers: my local was mostly made up of aircraft and aerospace trained and certified electrical and mechanical technicians, along with support tradespeople. A high percentage were retired military as well - conservative and patriotic.
