“NATO’s military involvement in the Balkans was a geopolitical disaster for the US. Russia was right, Clinton was wrong. “

Sorry but you are clueless in this subject. Before the war Serbia was with Montenegro and Kosovo. Serbia has always been and will be a Russian puppet, ready to do the Russian bidding against European /US interests. After the war Montengro became independent, is joining EU and NATO and a smaller Serbia is landlocked and surrounded by pro-Western countries. They don’t dare send tanks to Croatia or kill Austrian princes anymore.

I was working for STRATFOR at the time, and they quickly called BS on the official story. The “old” maps showed an empty lot where that embassy was. That didn’t quite jive with sending a B2 non-stop from the US to Serbia and back with a satellite guided bomb attached.

That was one screwed-up war, when China and Russia were on the right side and we were on the wrong side.

And although it’s interesting to see this confirmed, what kind of a NUT CASE would bomb the Chinese Embassy to stop Serbs from sending intelligence? How about just giving them a warning to cut it out?

Clinton damned near started a war with Russia—twice. Once when Weasley Clark was about to sink a couple of Russian ships in the Aegean for spying on us, and once at the airport where it took a British general to stop him from starting a shooting war with Russian troops.

All this to help a gang of Albanian drug-smuggling Muslim terrorists steal a province from our old allies, the Serbs.

They don’t dare send tanks to Croatia or kill Austrian princes anymore.

Which does the US worlds of good.

In the meantime, Russia has secured all the oil and gas and transport in Eastern Europe, dictates European energy prices, subjugated Georgia (in our face), and Chechnya, zombiefied the Islamic Chechnya's military, married the Ukraine for 100 years of Russian Empire naval support, humiliated NATO, and rid Europe of US antimissile weapons systems, while the US is trusted by no one anymore.

We certainly got the best deal by knocking China out for Russia.

And I thought it was because they shot down one of our F-117s.

And “mewykwistmas” (joined FR on December 25, 2010) is a Serbophobe troll.

That would explain it.

No.

The electronic interceptions were spot-on and the building attacked. . .at the time we did not have up-to-date info to reflect the building was Chinese.

No one knew, we have old data from the CIA and State Dept (wonderful people that they are). The building was in a Tier IV area, requiring precision to limit collateral damage. . .we did not want to affect anyone outside the target.

And I was working inside a Joint billet, working targeting, and the maps were out of date. . .we knew the building was there, we had pictures of it. . .we also knew the building was emitting SIGINT. We did NOT know the building was Chinese.

Re B-2, yes, we would send it all the way there and back: Excellent operational mission demonstrating long range strike and precision, exercising the weapon system, providing experience for the crew, keeping the USAF in the forefront. Reference this last point: Inter-service rivalry does play a role sometimes when it comes to operational missions.

Additionally, the Clinton factor: Clinton was very careful with the Chinese and if he had ANY inkling of Chinese in the target he would have scuttled the mission.

Nonsense. Serbia, and the first Yugoslavia, were the first parliamentary democracies in the Balkans. Serbia attempted to emulate Britain and the US, not Russia. But during WWII, Yugoslavia was handed over to Tito's communism by British communists in WWII British intelligence. And the US State Department kept supporting keeping that communism/socialism in place in Yugoslavia until it (along with the globalist bankers) decided that it was more useful to destroy the country and plant a NATO base in Kosovo.

And BTW, I am an American who is full-blooded Montenegrin, and Montenegro was handed over to the Balkan Mafia, just like Kosovo was given to the Albanian Mafia.

But I did wonder just who says to themselves on December 25th (when you signed up), "Wow! What a great day to go trawling for a new Conservative website to post on!", other than someone with an axe to grind who doesn't celebrate Christmas?

So save the Muslim Albanian propaganda for someone a less dumb than Freepers. We've been there, done that, gotten the t-shirt way too many times with guys like you.

Thanks for the heads up on ‘mewykwistmas’ even though these anti-Serb trolls are obviously not too bright.

Wow such a personal attack for no reason at all, other than to hide the bitter truth. You are even denying that Serbs and Russian have a special bond and that throws your supposed objectivity away. It took a lot of ‘work’ to finally get a pro-western government on, and now the pro-eastern side managed to get 70,000 people on the streets to protest. The last pro-western one was assassinated by secret services and god knows who else.

So you are Montenegrin and support Serbia because Montenegro has a mafia or whatever. They are are less mafiosi and corrupt politicians in Serbia than in Montenegro and Kosovo? I seriously doubt it.

A picture of you which I notice you don't deny. No Christian would mock "Christmas" by using "Kwistman" as part of his screen name

You are even denying that Serbs and Russian have a special bond

Russians have never been the "brothers" you and the media have sought to portray. That's a racist, "because they are all Orthodox Slavs" mindset. If you are looking for "a brother" to Serbs, look to the Greeks. Russians are the approximation of cousins to Serbs. But it is our actions that have driven the Serbs into Russia's arms, where they never planned to be.

It took a lot of ‘work’ to finally get a pro-western government on, and now the pro-eastern side managed to get 70,000 people on the streets to protest.

"It took a lot of work" to get a pro-EU poodle elected in Serbia who sponsored "gay parades" to kiss EU butt and now they've had enough of jumping through hoops, so they are rebelling. Good for them!

So you are Montenegrin and support Serbia because Montenegro has a mafia or whatever. They are are less mafiosi and corrupt politicians in Serbia than in Montenegro and Kosovo? I seriously doubt it.

Correction -- I am an American, who happens to be of Montenegrin heritage and who also happens to have studied Balkan history. I know enough to know BS when I see it.

Re "mafias", you are being too modest. The Albanian Mafia has a far greater reach than any other Balkan mafia, even running part of their crime ring in NJ and beyond. But I am sure that I am not telling you anything that you don't already know, but are hoping won't be brought up.

ALL of this matters little compared to the illegal raping of Serbia for Kosovo. The illegal bombing and the complete destruction of Eastern Christian Orthodoxy in Kosovo...and for who? Drug runners, sex slave runners, violent anti-Christian jihadist muslims.

Wow, what great legacy to have awaken islam against Christianity, but it's not your Christianity so who cares? The problem is the Christians in the West think they are the real Christians and that what Eastern Orthodoxy suffers at the hands of bloody jihadists is not their problem. Well, mark my words, they will make Mosques out of the Protestant and Catholic churches in Europe in due time. Then they will know who they helped in Kosovo. God makes everything crooked straight.

Also in the article it shows where China’s recently unveiled stealth plane got its technology from.

We already knew that. The point is that the Chinese intelligence officers there meeting with the Serbians bringing more pieces of shot-down U.S. F117 and spy drones were the same guys who had obtained U.S. GPS guidance system technology for their cruise missile program. And that led directly to the Clinton Commerce Department and Commerce Secretary Ron Brown and to Clinton's Defense Secretary William Perry. It was easy to shut Ron Brown up: his USAF plane was directed into crashing into a hillside near the Dubrovnik Airport in April of '96 (too bad about those other 34 other people, including The New York Times Frankfurt Bureau chief Nathaniel C. Nash.) And the Chinese middlemen died in Belgrade when the USAF put at least five (some sources report seven) 2,000-pound MK-84 JDAM GPS-guided smart bombs into the Chinese Embassy, three of them hitting the Chinese military attache's office. Two Chinese journalists and the wife of one were killed, and Chinese diplomat Ven Bo Koy was seriously injured.

It was the only bombing mission of some 900 during the Kosovo war in which the USAF bombing operations were directed directly under the control of the CIA.

Well, it wasn't "a" B2 but a flight from a squadron from the 509th Operations Group ar Whiteman in Missouri. You may have heard of the 509th; they're the descendants of the 509th Composite Group of WWII, one of whose aircraft, the B-29 Superfortress "Enola Gay," dropped "a" bomb on Hiroshima, Japan.

I'd think a guy who worked for STRATFOR on JTF Flexible Anvil or JTF Sky Anvil would have known that.

Say, you didn't happen to work with Bill Bennett by any chance...?
