Okay gang, it looks like we had a open revolt of millions in Egypt today and now that Mubarak is gone(possibly), now what?
We all know that Egypt(namely Mubarak)for good or bad was a bulwark against the a radical takeover of Egypt and thus the Suez Canal as well as his maintaining of a peace between his nation and Israel.
Now the United State must look forward to a uncertain future for Egypt as well the region as a whole. Will the military and their Mubarak appointed VP survive until new elections or will the Muslim Brotherhood convince the same young people that he is more of the same and that radical Islam is the path to true freedom in their opinion?
The scrolling headlines would be MUCH better if it stated “OBAMA STEPS DOWN!”
You can bet the Muslim Brotherhood is knee deep behind the scenes.....
I have a feeling it won’t be pretty.
Well, 0bama will now take credit until the muslim brotherhood takes over and then he’ll blame Bush. Biden will deny saying Mubarak should stay, get drunk and blame Bush.
The Muslim Brotherhood won’t be prominent now or even in September.
Until Sept they’ll rebuild, then settle for significant security and patronage perks in the new govt in Sept.
by 2013 or so they’ll be able to turn the people on the military and rule.
Algeria Jordan Sudan Libya etc.

Yes: There is a long list of questions, including who stirred up this mess in the first place and why?
IMO we are about to see a Muslim takeover of Egypt.
Their first election will be their last one.
Yesterday, I heard a commentator on NPR say, “Do you think that Barack Obama will — Excuse me — Do you think that Mubarak will step down?”
THERE WILL BE BLOOD. Lots of it. And in the end, the Egyptian people will have traded one tyrant for another.
These people have no sense of Judeo-Christian tradition or any concept of limited Government or Liberty.
The world, by and large, is run by crooks and thugs. Egypt has been run by crooks and thugs since before the Pyramids were built. In fact only a ruthless thug could have convinced so many people to build such a monstrous monument to their own ego.
Obama is a thug. Luckily for us he has not mastered the ruthless part yet. Obama is an incompetent thug.
For some reason, I think Obama’s handling of this will make us more hated in that part of the world and will add another reason for terrorists to want to attack us.

Well, I don’t know about anyone else but I will continue to stockpile food, plant a big garden, maybe lobby to be able to keep chickens in my backyard and pray. Pray a lot.
