Oprah called on President Obama's critics on Friday to show some level of respect.
"I feel that everybody has a learning curve, and I feel that the reason why I was willing to step out for him was because I believed in his integrity and I believed in his heart," the influential TV host said on MSNBCs Morning Joe in Chicago.
Of the negative mood of the country, Oprah added, I think everybody complaining ought to try it for once.
She said the presidency is a position that holds a sense of authority and governance over us all, and that even if youre not in support of his policies, there has to be some level of respect.
Maybe she is suggesting that with the black man, the presidency standards needs to be lowered, aka dumbed down, so he can succeed. who knows what they think anymore?
Honestly, I have never watched Doprah for more than 5 minutes. This was long enough to see the collection of trashy women in the crowd—these are her followers. Doprah is a big promoter of breeding the stupid.
Leave barak alone!
And I want respect from Obama for Americans!!!
Thomas Sowell and Clarence Thomas tell similar stories. I would imagine most SUCCESSFUL blacks do.
Why? The First Bastard has never displayed any respect for ME.
“It ain’t the way I wanted it! I can handle things! I’m smart! Not like everybody says... like dumb... I’m smart and I want respect!”
haha! poor Fredo...
I do not know who this ‘Oprah’ person is, but I do know that respect is something that is earned. I give respect to those that have earned my respect.
True respect can only be earned, it cannot be demanded or seized.

Hey Chubby, he’s got to EARN respect before it can be given to him.
I didn’t call anyone a racist. I thought it was a poor choice of words and still do. If you don’t like that, feel free to ignore me.
LOL! Just got to this thread. My first thought was “Respect is earned.” But figured somebody else would have said that already, so I searched the page.
Great minds...
